If I was writing this review for just customer service I would definitely give them a five star. Everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly. They answered all our questions, helped us find exactly what we needed and looking for. Prices were decent.
The catch (why I'm rating them 1 star). So when we came in looking for furniture we told them we just wanted to know a grand total for what we were looking at and what kind of payment options they offered. I told them we weren't going to get the furniture till repairs where done to our house because we didn't have a place to store it. We were all for purchasing our furniture through them. Personally know several people who have purchased furniture through them and they all highly recommended FFO. Well, the following day upon balancing our accounts I soon discovered they ran a credit check on me and dipped into both our accounts and took money. Nothing was ever discussed with my husband or me that they were signing us up for an FFO credit card or that the financing company was going to dip into our accounts not once, but TWICE! I'm highly upset about how FFO handled this. I wish they would have asked us before signing us up for a credit card, or at least discussed with us what they were going to do as far as financing options went. We didn't want a card and we just wanted to know our grand total to see if we had enough in savings and/or how close we were to having it all in savings. I will say that they did inform us that we were going to have to have a cosigner and if we didn't have a cosigner we were going to have to pay a huge chunk as a down payment. I'm not entirely sure why I needed a cosigner. With my credit score and both our ages we don't need one. Since we had intentions of paying for the vast majority of it all in cash that really didn't trigger any flags or concerns.
I would have purchased my furniture through them, but with how they went about this we are both very upset and disappointed.
We both feel as though their salesmen need better training on informing their customers more clearly on payment plans, options, and financing, and that they will run you for a credit card if you're purchases are going to be over a certain amount. Better yet they really should be asking their customers if that's even okay before they even go about that route. They also should be informing you that they will dip into your account for a certain max amount to make sure the account is good.

My husband and I went in looking for decently priced furniture and ended buying the most expensive bedroom set available. That is because the quality there is very poor. Our furniture was delivered and set up for us by young kids. During the delivery and set up process, they managed to put many dings and scratches in the furniture. During the shopping trip, we were helped by a manager on the Rogers avenue location that absolutely reeked of alcohol. He also was very pushy. However, we are young and never experienced buying furniture or financing anything before. We were told we would not pay interest for a year. Our plan was to pay it off within that year. We bought our furniture in February 2023 and have already been changed $80 in interest on a $1700 purchase. $80 within two months!!! Needless to say, we were lied to and given very poor service. He was very pushy when it came to the paperwork. I left that store feeling so pressured. I would have preferred to have bought costlier furniture from honest people than to deal with what we are dealing with now....
