I went to see about a phone replacement. I plugged the phone I bought at Walmart which I was told was going to be $50 a month and turned out to be $76 a month) into an USB lamp (from walmart) with a usb cable (from walmart) with an adapter to fit my phone (from walmart). When I got up in the morning the adapter had melted and melted the input on my phone. It made the phone inoperable and dead. I don't know how many work calls I missed. I definitely did not get awoken by the alarm on the phone. So I took the phone with cable and melted adapter back. The young lady at customer service couldn't help me. The upc code was ripped off my package when I opened it.she told me I would have to walk back to electronics and retrieve another one in the package so she could use the barcode. I'm not an old guy. But, I'm no spring chicken either. Where I come from good customer relations would have used that intercom system to have someone bring that adapter to us. So, I hiked back to find there were none in the shelf. I went and got another young guy who zapped the place where it hung so he had it in his gun. I asked him if he could transfer that info to the front counter. He said , "no problem". Then returned to the front to find a new girl in the girl I dealt with spot. I told her where we were and she was shocked when she saw the adapter and phone. Then told me that the guy from the back never sent the info. I 6yyy6 where we were at. With ah condescending smirk he told me he couldn't do anything without the upc symbol. I stopped off in search of a manager. I ended up with a lady that was originally leaning against a wall chatting with other employees from the beginning. She escorted me back to electronics again to help me recieve a $2.88 return for the adapter. I was told that ok would have to deal with the phone company for the phone that their charger destroyed.. she did offer to get me to another manager. But, I did have other things to do that day. I know this story is long. Imagine the time in...
Read moreThe store looks very nice and clean. The only problem is finding a associate to help you when you need help. It seems that the new young associates have never been trained in customer service and could care less if you are a short elderly customer trying to reach a item on the top shelf they just stand there watching you struggle. I know this is a fact because I was the person who helped the elderly customer and I am not much taller than the customer was. There was two young male associates watching me struggle to get 4 cans of beans off the top shelf as I finally Got the last can one of them asked if I needed help. The older associates who have worked there for years will do everything they can to make Your shopping experience nice. It is too bad that many of them are...
Read moreThe Walmart in the shopping center was absolutely filthy. I have no idea whether it was due to lack of employees to handle such a large customer base or the lack of interest from the employees themselves to keep their own store clean. The bathrooms were a disaster and smelled similar to a homeless shelter or jail. Very dissatisfied with product placement as the covid-19 crisis continues to pound America, this Walmart make sure to put all of the essential groceries and necessities Burien conveniently located at the back of the store. Just another marketing scheme from a poorly-maintained Walmart. Will not...
