As a precursor, it takes a lot to really disappoint me in a restaurant. Smile Bull however left me feeling like I had wasted my money, and I know now why they are always empty in the evenings. We went at 6:30pm to try their buffet. I heard the had sushi on it, and I was craving some sushi and crab rangoon. As soon as we walked in, all of the doors/windows were just gross and had what looked to be a film on them. You couldn't see out of the restaurant because of the film. The booths were not clean, she sat us at a table that I had to wipe off with a napkin, had stuff all over it and I guess she didn't notice. Their ventilation or something was messed up, so there was condensation all over the windows as well, and I had to take my jacket and push my sleeves up because it was super hot in there. Went to the buffet, they didn't look like they cleaned the tray areas. Some of the trays you could tell had old food. The crab rangoon (wontons) were chalky and not hot. The seafood/fish looked old, like it had been there since the lunch crowd. The icecream had freezerburn on top of it, and I gave it a shot anyways and it was old (it had the taste like they bought a huge thing of it and had been using the same container past it's date). I asked for ketchup for some corn nuggets, waitress brought me an extra large thing of Heinz, only had 1/4 of bottle left, it had fermented. Long story short, definitely don't go in the evening. I have heard the lunch buffet was better, or order off of...
Read moreThis was the closest i have had to original chinese food since i was over there!! The sushi is great! The buffet had an awesome yet limited mix of food. However dont let that detour you as tye food they have on the bar is very delicious! We went there as just kind of a hey we havent given this place a chance! Now we will most assuredly be returning when we visit fort smith! I am still craving the tuna roll and the dumplings!! They even had the plum filled dumplings!!! Guys i dont usually rave about a place but you are shorting yourself a good experience if you dont give this place a shot. Heck the chef even came out to explain what was in the seaweed wrapped rice with a pork shred that was dried i forget the name he used but it too was good with the dipping sauce! Just know we shall be returning it is worth the visit. The seating was a little close together even though it was just me and 2 others in my group and then towards the end of our meal a group of loud children with a defeated parent came in, but that aint a mark against the resturaunt in fact i dare to say the food was so good it shut them rowdy kids up and gave that poor mom a chance at some quiet!!! I didnt think to take any photos but i will say the service was great and the food was above our...
Read moreI have been here twice, and this is probably by far the worst restaurant I have ever visited. Quality of Food: 1/5 Meat was clearly boiled beyond recognition, to the point where chicken literally dissolved before you could get it to your mouth. Vegetables were severely under cooked and a stark contrast to the over cooked sludge they sold as meat. The fried wantons tasted like stagnant grease and the cream cheese tasted like old milk.
Restaurant Cleanliness: 2/5 Seating area had to be cleaned before we could sit down, and we were the only family in the restaurant - there is no excuse for an empty location to have a dirty seating area.
Service: 2/5 The wait staff was a mixed bag. My first experience had a fantastic, attentive, patient waitress who did her best to satisfy the party. My second experience was one of the more uncomfortable experiences I have been forced to withstand - overbearing, hovering, and annoying. We were the only family the second time as well, perhaps the waiter was bored?
Overall, I give the multiple experiences an average of 2/5. The experience was poor, the food quality was poor, and I would not recommend any one to visit...
