This is more a review of Kohls in general, particularly their website and apparent deceptive marketing practices. I had written a good review a few years ago when I shopped almost completely in store, but now that they offer coupons exclusively for online purchases to pick up in store (but can't just buy in store), my opinion has changed: Website doesn't work. No way to select the store you want to use. Sure, you can "find item there" or a couple of other ways to see the store exists, but no way to select it when you do. No way to set it as default. If you are actually able to get your store shown, it will tell you that they don't have the item in stock. Even if you are in the store, holding it in your hand. Even if the counter clerk scans the barcode with her phone right from the product into the app apparently. "Yeah, it's telling me we don't have it in stock either." "But you're holding it in your hand". "Yeah, I don't know. So, that great discount they offer for pickup in store, is useless because the sale you want to combine it with will expire before you are able to get their system to work...which is why they don't offer the same discount for actually buying the item in store. Save yourself the frustration. Other places offer jewelry just as nice as the price you would have gotten had you actually been able to use those sales and...
Read moreWORST PLACE EVER!!! The manager or assistant.. well whatever she was. Her name was Rebecca. She is the worst person to talk to. She couldn't help you or whatever. So I went to return some stuff that didn't fit me.. then they said that they couldn't give money.. like a refund. So, they said to buy something that costs 67, 40, and 38 dollars. That is called a equal exchange. There was nothing that I liked and if i liked something it would cost a little more or a little less. I asked Rebecca if I could pay 2 or 5 dollars more so it can fit 68 dollars and she said "No" she told me that you cannot do that. I was confused. I was like " How can you guys not do that..!" That's just not correct. The lady is big. I do not recommend buying stuff and returning it here. If you do try to return it, they will make a big fuss about it! I told her that it is Christmas and that there should be more options, right? So she said no. I can't believe that there can be managers or people like this that don't want to solve anything or even help you at all! I hope that is does not happen to any of you people that are/might go!! This is a mess!!! Now i don't have anything to put on this Christmas. This Christmas will be sad. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE THAT READS...
Read moreI have been by our local kohl’s many times and every single time I’ve been, the customer service at this store has been beyond AMAZING. Every person I’ve spoken with, has been; kind, receptive and very helpful. Not only have they tried to assist me find product, but when they can’t, they double checked with other associates.
Truly a fantastic team at this store.
However, to my dismay, there was a completely different customer experience this morning.
As my girlfriend is soft spoken and non confrontational, she had called me to express how upset she was that there was a lady behind the customer service desk that had gotten expressive about her opinion with her.
My girlfriend inquired about if Kohl’s had received any new Pokemon cards. Her response was as follows,
“🙄 I haven’t seen any new cards in, I don’t understand why Kohl’s is pandering to childish and immature adults. Those cards don’t belong here.”
I’d like to formally apologize for us being childish and immature adults that don’t belong in kohls for a product that is sold there but apparently, shouldn’t be long there. That is on me. That is on us, I’d like to extend my apologies, I’m sorry. We didn’t know that the product didn’t...
