Asian Market — Local services in Fort Walton Beach

I have been here a few times before. Never have I had an experience like I did today (3/28/25). I came in to get seafood gyoza in their frozen section (very yummy). With a only one package available, I grabbed another with chicken. Once it was my turn at the register, I tried to kindly inform the cashier that they were out of my favorite product, and that I would love to come buy more if they ordered it. Maybe the guy didn't really speak great English? That aside, ran my transaction and I had cash. I had a small stack of money with a few big bills. I was getting some of the ones and trying to separate a $20 from another sticky bill when this man REACHES for the fold of money in my hand, telling me what to hand him!! I have never had that happen (ANYWHERE), man or woman. I pulled back and paid for my items, telling him "I got it." Who does that?? Definitely going to be seeking my goodies else where...

Positives -they have a very wide selection. You can find things here that you just cant find anywhere else that I've seen. -TONS of stuff in there. And it's fun to try out new things.

Negatives: -Most prices arent listed or visible, so you wont know what anything costs until you bring it up to the counter. So, things might be more expensive than you're expecting, And they could potentially be charging different prices for different people -Some items are quite pricey. I dont often feel like I'm walking out with a bargain. -The store isnt organized super well. No labeled aisles, and some aisles are narrower than others. If you want something specific, you'll need to search for it. -not a lot of english labels. I end up using google to figure out what a lot of things are, as I dont speak...

Very disappointed by the worker that work there today. The owner is always nice and polite. This guy(the worker) He was charged me for something that I didn’t buy and when I questioned him he was so mad and gave me an attitude. Yelling at me not to come back again because his fault that over charged me . I almost call police. Also Told me not to come back and shopping there anymore.i have been there customers since day one they opened. I own a restaurant and always shopping there 2 or three times per week at least. So if this person still working there ill not go back to shopping there. When he not there ill go back. I will go to two different Asian market that in the area instead. That they will appreciated...
