Uptown Station — Local services in Fort Walton Beach

Winn Dixie is my go to grocery store. I love strolling through Tuesday Morning to see what special little knick - knack I can pick up discount. The party store has you covered for all your party needs from Halloween to Christmas or Birthday bash! Ross shop for less discount department store has great prices as well. For a quick meal the Tokyo Express makes great fried rice dinners. I'm not big on Buffalo Wild Wings, but it is a great place to see a major sporting event and Janae Moore is one of the best bartenders in town! Clemenza's make fantastic pizza! They're a bit pricey but the atmosphere and food are well worth it. On Sundays, they serve Mama Clemenza's brunch and it is amazing! Firehouse Subs Rocks and if you have a sweet tooth Dip-n-dots...

I like Uptown Station. It is a nice and quite place to shop. My only problem is the park. It is clean and nice but I take my kids to play there almost every night while we wait for my husband to get off work from a restaurant there. But last night a cop showed up saying 1.) that my 14 year old was too old to play there. My son was playing tag (slowly) with my 5 year old and his friend cause my 5 year old broke his arm ( at that park ) and can't play with other kids cause sometimes they play to rough and right now he can't. Then at 10 p.m. he came back and told us we had to leave cause the park closed at 9 p.m.. I know the bathrooms close at 9 but not the park. My kids just wanted to have some fun while waiting...

This is a really cool plaza in Fort Walton Beach, FL. They have a pavilion with public restrooms and outlets to charge your phone. Lots of open space in the middle of a shopping center. They got food, grocery store, and others like the guitar shop tucked off in the back. The city buses all converge here so you can easily get to anywhere in the surrounding area. Just be sure to check the schedule online. You have to look up the county transit authority's website. I was waiting on a greyhound here and I played guitar and hung out here for a couple hours.
