Some of the hairstylists are okay & do what you ask but there are a good half of them that are pretty rude. I went the other day and a lady (don't know her name, she's the second chair on the left when you walk in, old & has glasses) was cutting another lady's hair. The customer had her special needs daughter sitting in the chair next to her & the hairstylist was calling the daughter 'handicapped'. The customer told her 'She's not handicapped, she's special needs.' and the hairstylist ignored her for a good 10 mins after that.
Another time I went, I wanted to get my hair dyed a cherryish red (I have very dark hair so I was expecting them to bleach it), I then got there and she came out with all the red dye and I asked if they were going to bleach my hair. She replied with, "it'll take too long, you'll be fine." and went to put the red dye in.
Another time, I was getting my hair done for Homecoming & the lady who was doing my hair ignored me the entire time. I tried to make small talk but she just shoot/nodded her head everytime I said something. This went on for 45 mins & I was so annoyed that I just paid and left.
Another time, (same lady as the experience above) was brushing my hair. But she would brush so hard and so carelessly that my hair was falling out!! Then when it was time to pay, she told my mom that my hair is so unhealthy that it was just falling out in clumps!
I've even witnessed 3 arguements going on at once between customers & the hairstylists (seemed to be the hairstylists faults because the customers where complaining that it wasn't wait they had asked for.)
I've gone quite a bit because my mother drags me along, but most of my experiences have been negative. About half of the hairstylists are okay, the other have are pretty rude...
Read moreFirst my wife did not.want me to do this but after seeing how upset she is about her hair color ...I feel the need to warn others so they don't have to experience from the hands of a lady named Fonzy ! Couple of weeks ago she went for a color and cut. Fonzy cut her hair way shorter than she wanted and most of all screwed up the color really bad. She tried to fix it that day and was not any better. She offered for her to come back again later and she would fix it ...so my wife waited to give her hair a break....she called her back and went back yesterday to get it fixed ...OMG she screwed it up even worse ...it's freaking orange !!!! She just wanted highlights ...she even admitted "Maybe I mixed up 2 parts of this and 1 part of that in the mixture" My wife expressed her dissatisfaction and all she said she doesn't know what happened ? ...this is unbelievable! I hate seeing my wife upset ....and Fonzy ...you need to retire and never do anyone's hair again ..give it up woman! You are lucky I am a gentleman and did not come in to tell you in person in front of all the other customers how much you suck at hair ! And to top it all off she never got a refund from the first screw up !! .....both my wife and I will...
Read moreI can not believe the people that are giving this place any more than 1 Star. I received the worst haircut of my life at this place. I went in, asked the lady to take 2 inches off (I had about 8 inches of hair all around). She has the audacity to get the buzz clips out and literally shaved my entire head. I was in such shock that I couldn’t even speak, and by the time she got done with the first swipe, it was over with. She then had the audacity to turn to me and say “I thought you might like this better”. I’m 32 years old and have never gone to a barber to get my hair done “the way they want it”. I go to get my hair cut the way I want it, the way I always get it cut time and time again. I looked like such a damn fool I almost walked out and didn’t pay. Then she tried to rub it off like “it looks good”. And I told her “no it doesn’t. This wasn’t what I asked for”. She wasn’t my mother. I asked to get my hair cut one way and that’s the way I want it cut. Don’t go to this place unless you expect to walk out with...
