Ambience was pleasant and clean, it has a main dining area with about 6 booths and spread out tables and also a connected seperate room with tables where we sat. As for the food, ordered a veggie omlet with hashbrown casserole and a buttermilk biscuit. The star of the show was the buttermilk biscuit, one of the best biscuits we ever had. The veggies inside the omlet tasted fresh and flavorful but the omlet itself was overcooked and tough. The hashbrown casserole was served like a scoop of ice cream in a small dish - it tasted ok (we expected better based on other reviews) but was visually unappealing, much better to have served it on the plate with omlet and more of it, felt skimpy and not enough for the price of the breakfast dish. Asked for a sample of the potato leak soup, was denied, told that it was made to order, which really doesn't make sense if you think about because soups are usually made in big pots, first place to have ever been denied a sample of soup to ensure it tastes good before ordering. Regardless, ended up taking a chance and ordering a bowl of the potato leak soup, it was ok, had big pieces of potato and was watered down and tasted like milk and potatoes and spices and not much "leek" flavor, also was about 2/3 filled to the top - for $7 a bowl would expect it to be filled all the way to top. If we're in the area next time may stop by but will probably look for other places...
Read moreAmazing service! Comes highly recommended from other locals. Located right in front of books of the Books-A-Million.
Our server, Wendy, knows how to serve both locals and tourists, as well as loyal customers and newcomers. Very friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
The cook they currently have is rated 5 stars as well! We specifically requested the cook to thank him for cooking fresh and delicious southern style breakfast for us at closing time and the staff allowed us to stay after hours to dine in.
Real accommodation at its finest! Neither of us 3 locals have ever experienced such amazing service as that of Neighborhood Cafe!
My first time was the best food I've ever had.
Highly recommend. ZERO COMPLAINTS.
If I was a food critic: clean, well managed, customer satisfaction, food grade= 5/5 perfect place for breakfast.
I had the 3 sausage links, meat lovers special omlet, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, and hill & brooks coffee and sweet tea.
Thank you for the CORRECT employee/customer respect and service.
We will always eat at Neighborhood Cafe for the years to come if they continue like this!

Read moreMy husband and I went here this morning with our daughter. I’ve been wanting to go since we moved here as I drive by it daily and it’s ALWAYS packed. We were seated very quickly and our waitress (I forgot her name) was very pleasant and even interacted with our daughter so that meant a lot to me. The food was DELICIOUS! Not a bite was left. I got the sunrise special, my husband the steak omelet and my daughter the Mickey pancake with a scrambled egg. Drinks were refilled with no wait and lots of options for our breakfast sides and jams. We will be back here REGULARLY. The interior of this place is also very modern and cutely decorated. Everybody seemed happy to be there and I noticed were helped very quickly. The portions were good and the cost is very fair. I saw a lady complaining about how she ordered two sandwiches and was charged $31 but, the sandwiches are like $13 and then tax so I don’t know what she was expecting. It’s very fair for the area and also delicious so it lives up to what you are paying for. I’m so glad I found our go-to breakfast spot! Next time I’m getting the eggs Benedict because they...
