Georgetown Square had its first groundbreaking in 1968, when Tom Jehl pioneered the fast -growing northeast section of Fort Wayne by building the first section of Georgetown that included Lincoln Bank, Rogers Market, and 14 stores. As northeast Fort Wayne continued to grow, so did demand for more retail space and Georgetown grew and grew and became the premier retail hub for the healthy, vibrant neighborhood that it is today. We are thankful to live next to this amazing shopping center. They have so many wonderful things to do. If you like BBQ, go to Ziffles. Don't forget to get thier carrot cake. We visit the library multiple times a week. We like going to the Renew Store. JJ's Antique Shop is fun to get lost in. 24/30 Shop And Save, is a nice place to find small gifts. They've got a Kroger that does grocery pickups, Ziffle's Rib Bar (ribs are super tender and fall off the bone...they've got chicken and other items too like fried pickles and their own house salad similar to a Caesar salad, Thrift Store, Library, Yum Thai, TCBY (has waffle cone Wednesdays for 99 cents with certain flavors), Dollar General, a Fitness Place, Coney dog, MetroPCS, an Auction store (next to the thrift store), used furniture retailers...I'm forgetting a lot but...
Read moreGreat strip mall with plenty of stores and things to do, especially the bowling alley. There's a Chinese restaurant that is fantastic. There also some great breakfast spots. The Kroger here is the bottom of the barrel if you're looking for choices, although the one on state might just be a close second to that. If you're looking for a Kroger with lots of choices, head down to the Maple Crest and you may get lost same with the dupont location. Kroger Clinton is also pretty darn good.
