The worst location ever! We were driving through from Kansas on 2/10/20. We were craving their Taco pizza so we called and was told it was available. For whatever reasons, the taco pizza at Cici's is no longer available in Kansas so we were very excited. The 8 of us decided to eat at the buffet. We ordered a taco pizza and barely had any because it was shared on the buffet with other guests (which was no problem). Usually when we request a pizza at the other Cici's locations, it was bought out to our table. But we understand that each location could be different. However, when we tried to order another one, they said each person only gets to request a pizza. We've been going to Cici's all over the US and have never ever heard of this before. What happened to all you can eat? They soon realized there's 8 of us. So finally, they said they will make it but it will be the last one because they have to save the rest of the sauce for the next day because they are low on the sauce. It was a strange statement, but we were OK with it. We would think you should make your current customer happy, not plan for a non-existent customer. We sat and waited for 20mins. Spoke to the employees and they said it will be out shortly. Waited another 15mins. We asked them again. This time they said, they are not making it because they have to save what sauce they have for the next day. WTF?! We waited for 35 mins with the promise it's coming out! Finally, we were upset, we offered to buy the pizza if they don't want to be included in the buffet. Then they finally agreed (with an unhappy tone) to make another one for us. The whole rude service did not make the trip enjoyable at all! They did not treat us like paying customers. THE WORST WORST PART, 2 adults and 2 young children ate the red sauce on the buffet and had FOOD POISONING for 2 days! They were the only ones who ate the red sauce at our table. This is by far the worst WORST customer service and experience we ever had at any Cici's we've been to. I strongly do not recommend...
Read moreUPDATE Decided to try it out again since they added the arcade area. My kids loved it. Now they no longer have all the disposable items. The only thing that was very bothersome and made me decide not to come back again was the following: The lady at the register, which I was told, was the manager. She is a young thing girl with very light brown hair. So this manager has on a pair of gloves that she checks people out with, then she goes around wiping down the buffet line. I'm assuming the towel has cleaning solution or chemicals right. Well, she does this with the same gloves on. Then she goes to the salad bar and refills the vegetables. Oh, and she never changes her gloves, by the way. So she grabs the containers with the tomatoes opens it up and then with her hands both her hands she puts them in the container and grabs as many tomates as she can and with her hands puts them in the salad bar containers. Yes she still has the same gloves on that i watch her handle the register with then fix her hair with then grab the cleaning towel and clean then stick those same gloves in the tomatoes that my kids and other people were eating. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She never once changed her gloves at all. This is very concerning. I was present for over an hour and she never changed her gloves at all.
As soon as we walked in the music was too loud it was so loud when I was ordering a special pizza the manager who was taking my order couldn't even hear me. So therefore our pizza came out wrong. Second at this location they do not have a bus boy picking up your plates and cleaning tables you have to take your plates to a station which is fine but when everyone is busy you are stuck looking for a clean table. Third they give u plastic disposable cups for water and paper disposable cups for any other drink which is concerning for the...
Read moreI started going to CiCi's back in the very early 90's when their buffet was $2.99. I loved them and was a frequent diner. Everything was delicious. Over the years I have seen the prices go up (understandable) while the quality has gone down. This particular CiCi's has gone to plastic ware instead of silverware, and the personal touch is something to be desired. They no longer have the condiments on the table, you have to get them by the drink station. They don't have anyone come by to take away the dirty stacks of plates. I reqested a deep/pan pizza (which I stressed several times). What I got was a flatbread crust. She said they didn't do personal pan pizza. So if a customer wants pan pizza and they feel they can't give it to them, flatbread crust is the reasonable substatute? SMH. I said at the other locations I would request pan, they'd asked how many slices I'd like, they'd bring me those slices and the remainder would go on the buffet soon to disappear. Here they give you the extreme opposite of your request and gives you a buzzer that goes off when it's ready for you to pick up. Less personal interaction on their part. But seriously, a place that has plastic ware, you have to hunt down salt, pepper and parmasian cheese, and no bus boy to take the towering stack of dirty plates away and they use a buzzer like at a fancier restaurant? I'd rather have a buss boy than a buzzer. What made it so bad was I paid a higher price here than I did at any other location, did not get what I wanted and they had nothing in the line that I wanted or could eat. Everything had jalapenos, sausage and pepperoni which I can't eat without feeling like the fires of Hell is in my chest and throat. So I left a buffet hungry. Will not be going back to...
