The AMC theater, located in the Shops of Clearfork in Fort Worth, is an upscale movie theater with with some very appealing amenities not found in other local theaters. Most notable are their signature electric recliners which are customizable and include a foot rest that can be raised to the same level as the seat for lounging during the movie. There’s also the option to turn your seat heater on and melt into the back of your chair if you choose. The stadium styled seats are reserved at purchase and include additional elbow room for those who prefer to spread out a bit. The theater is both self serving and also offers food delivery to your seat. The traditional concession stand is available to all, but you can skip the lines by downloading the free AMC app which allows you to order anything on their menu to be delivered while you’re watching your movie! The menu includes candy, popcorn, nachos, specialty Coke products, slurpees, appetizers, salads, full entrees, flatbread pizzas, wings, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, kids meals and even desserts. With the omission of meat or a couple of changes to regular menu items, there are about 15 options for Vegetarians. Come early and enjoy a drink at the MacGuffins bar located to the left of the entry doors. There’s a nice outdoor patio for enjoying a snack or waiting for your movie. Pros: We enjoy their oversized recliners and the additional elbow room. The Dolby cinema reverberates through the recliners with every explosion or climax, so it’s a more immersive experience. They offer discount matinees as well as discounts on their app and on Tuesday’s. The concession area has a self serving popcorn station where you can add hot butter to your popcorn bag, sprinkle on some seasonings and grab napkins or drink holders. The drink machines dispense Coca-Cola products and allow you to add specialty flavors like lime, cherry or vanilla to your favorite soft drinks. Any sized drinks or bags of popcorn can be refilled free of charge. The bathrooms are clean with numerous stalls and hot water for washing your hands. The concession areas are always well stocked, organized and kept clean. The parking garage, bathrooms and theaters all have nice areas for anyone with a disability, a wheelchair or in need of additional space, ramps or rails. Cons: Like all areas in Clearfork, parking is limited. The movie theater is located directly across the street from the complimentary parking garage, so it’s closer, but still a long walk. There is an elevator in the parking garage for anyone who can’t take the stairs.

First time going to this loc and it stunk. Ordered food at the stand when we walked in. About 45mins later half of the food arrived at our seats but the rest which happened to be my daughters food was not available even though we had already paid for it. Told me I would have to get a refund after the movie and didn’t offer to bring anything else. I went outside to order something else for her and there were about 40 people in line. Approached some staff at the counter and told them what happened. They told me that you could only order food via the app the first 30mins of the show and that I would have to wait in the long line if I needed some thing else despite the fact that it was their fault that my daughter didn’t have anything. I went back into the movie and continued to exit and spot check the line until it was short. This caused me to miss portions of the movie. Finally got to the stand to order something and wait for a manager to approve the refund of the food that they couldn’t deliver. I told the manager of the food experience, the fact there was food all over the ground around the Coke machines and popcorn butter area and that the mens bathroom needed cleaning (trash all over the floor). She said “on the weekend it is never like this” indicating that my experience would be better on a weekend than on a Monday evening. She was a nice enough person and offered me a coupon for a free drink and popcorn on a future visit, but I don’t think it makes up for missing portions of the movie and spending over $100 for two people at the movies. I understand issues can happen, but it’s all about how you handle them when they do. Being told I would have to stand in a 40 person line to get something else isn’t how you handle the issue. I don’t mind paying for an upscale experience and we figured the Clearfork area would deliver, but it fell way short. Save your money and go to rave or a movie tavern as this place is anything but a luxury experience at a high price.

let me preface this by saying the boy at the front getting tickets (younger, brunette, wavy hair) was so kind. the girl at concessions (braids, cute edges laid, top knot) went above and beyond her scheduled position to help me with the situation. this happened thursday 6/12 at 12:20 pm.

long story medium, i ordered a pizza online to be delivered to my seat. the website listed two separate sauces and i chose to remove one of them (with separate buttons to remove each) when my mom and i got to our seat she ate a whole slice (not knowing what i specifically ordered). i ate a slice then realized there was literally no sauce on it. just dry pizza with toppings. i took it with a receipt up to the food counter to ask for it remade with the sauce it was missing and explaining why a piece was missing. a gentleman (who I’d later learn was the manager) heard me out and listened to me, but seemed to be pretty confused about the menu and what actually comes on the pizza. to the line cooks and myself, they informed him that the two sauces listed are actually just one sauce, so that’s why they did the pizza with no sauce at all. I said, even though the website list them as two separate things I would appreciate it if they could just make the pizza as normal with the sauce. I had to ask a couple of different times because there was a misunderstanding of what I was asking for. Which is fine. he then told me he would have the pizza remade, but walked away from me before I could ask if it would get delivered to my seat or if I needed to wait for it. He walked into a door into a closed kitchen with one of the chefs and didn’t come back out. I stood there waiting for 15 minutes, but eventually got frustrated and asked the nice girl at concessions if they would be able to bring the pizza to my seat. She said they would, so I headed back to my theater. I passed an employee along the way and asked how long their pizzas usually take to make, and he said about 10 minutes. I went back into the movie, that I had now missed a significant amount of, and the time was 1:02 PM. 40 minutes after the pizza was originally delivered to our seats. I told myself I would wait at least 20 minutes to go check on the pizza because I had a bad feeling it wouldn’t be delivered to us within the appropriate timeframe. I waited until 1:25 PM, and left the theater to go back to the kitchen to ask about the pizza. I waited there another 7 minutes. A different staff member who was running the expo of the kitchen gave me the pizza and walked away, leaving no one at the food counter again. frustrated, because I had missed about 40 minutes of this movie, and because the fries that I was going to eat with this pizza, were now cold and there was no offer to remake those with the meal, I asked the nice concessions girl if she could call a manager so I could talk to them. She very politely said, of course, and radio’d a manager. The same gentleman who received the initial complaint about the pizza showed up and I asked “oh you’re the manager?” He said yes and I started to say I’ve been waiting for this pizza for like 40 minutes, but he looked at me blankly and kind of expressions towards the pizza as if to imply “you mean the pizza you have?” i, frustrated and being shown there’s literally no care about the situation Said “you know what never mind everything’s perfectly fine” obviously being sarcastic. He made no attempt to ask me about the instance or correct anything. he was happy to just leave me with my problem and get me out of his face. I ended up spending almost $30 for a single side order of fries and a medium size pizza, fries that I didn’t get to eat and pizza that took literally an hour to have made correctly, and I missed a substantial amount of the movie.

i’m extremely disappointed by the lack of care in the situation, the wasted money and time and wasted afternoon. i’m going to have to go see this movie again just to understand what I was...

We were excited to try this new theater in the upscale Clearfork area. We saw Jurassic World on opening weekend. The tickets were nearly $20 a piece after online fees and it wasn't even a 3D showing.

We've been going Movie Taverns, Alamo Drafthouse, and the AMC dine-in theater in Grapevine for years so we are well accustomed to the dine-in concept.

To start off, despite the advertising plastered all over the theater, this is NOT a true dine-in experience. There are no waiters and you cannot order at your seat. You must wait in line (upwards of 15 minutes on a busy night) to order your food at the concessions counter. They will then bring the food to your seat. For this privilege they charge you a $2 delivery fee (are you kidding me?!). The menu is very limited compared to other theaters. They have a small selection of burgers, a salad, snacks, and a few other items. It's not at all what we were expecting from what we perceived as a high end theater. The food was also extremely overpriced for what you were getting. Nothing struck our fancy so we chose not to order anything, so I cannot review the food.

We stopped by the bar which was extremely small. There was one bartender working with a long line of guests waiting for their drinks. You have to order your drinks at the bar and then take them inside the theater with you. They will not deliver the drinks to you. This is extremely inconvenient if you want another drink mid-movie. They also ID everyone. I saw them IDing a grandma who was clearly over 70 years old. They won't allow you to order a drink for anyone else, so if you are trying to order a drink for your spouse or friend who is already inside the theater, they have to come outside to present their ID. This system sucks and we saw several others who were very irritated at this.

When we got inside the theater, we found the recliner seats to be fairly small compared to some of the other theaters we frequent such as AMC Grapevine and Rave. Our seats were apparently broken as neither of them would recline at all. We told the manager later and he apologized and gave us 2 free passes for a future movie.

The actual screen and sound experience was enjoyable, however I don't think that's enough to get me to come back here. We'll likely use those free passes we have at the AMC theater in Grapevine.

I realize this is a new theater and they are undergoing growing pains, but there is simply too much that is fundamentally wrong with this theater to warrant a revisit.

The manager did mention to us that this was 1 of 4 "beta" theaters testing out this new concept. Given the very poor reviews from other patrons thus far, hopefully some major changes are...
