Plank is hands-down, my favorite restaurant. I go in there at LEAST once a week. Recently I went in with my sister and Jamie came around and spoke with us. She was attentive. Gave us AMAZING service. She even hooked us up with a little shared appetizer. (Not sure if she was picking up on our frustration with one of the bartenders or if she was just being attentive. Either way it really made a difference.) I've literally only ever had great service there from EVERYONE except one bartender. I thought after her training things would get better but as someone who's been a bartender I honestly just don't get Kenzie's (I think is her name) attitude. She's also very juvenile. If you’re going to gossip about your guests, you shouldn’t literally point at them and make faces at them as if they don’t have two eyes and common sense. For some reason She just never seems happy to be there, Happy to serve you, or helpful in anyway. She even argues with you And tells you how you’re wrong, even though other bartenders have completed requests we have made in the past. requests I’ve had from guests when I was a bartender. Making drinks isn’t complicated. And if you don’t wanna do it, then you should do something else so that guests aren’t having bad experiences. I keep hoping on the occasion that she is my bartender. Something will be different, but I haven’t experienced a single good service from her and that just boggles my mind. Idea enjoy literally every other bartender and servers and management. I’m giving five stars on everything because I think that all the other employees pick up the Slack for her and have made sure that we have good service. I find everyone to be very aware of how guests are feeling and I really appreciate that. I really appreciate Jamie and how down to earth she is while also still being professional. It feels like you’re speaking with your friend when she’s...

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the interior was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely ambiance. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience left much to be desired.
From the moment we arrived, the host was unwelcoming and gave off an unfriendly vibe. Our server, while efficient, felt robotic and lacked genuine warmth—it seemed like he was just going through the motions rather than offering attentive service (never said hello, his name, never recommended anything, truly felt like he just wanted to take the order to get us out of there as fast as possible). He wasn’t busy, because he had plenty of time to speak with other employees. Later we saw the same server greet a table with such a different vibe.
What made the experience worse was the uncomfortable seating arrangement. Our booth was placed directly behind a computer station where servers input orders, and employees frequently gathered there to chat loudly. The noise made it difficult to hold a conversation with my family, ruining what should have been a pleasant meal.
Additionally, there was an unsettling feeling of being treated differently—perhaps due to racial bias—as we noticed SOME giving us odd looks. Combined with the lack of professionalism (employees talking amongst themselves instead of focusing on guests), it really soured the experience.
Such a shame because the food was excellent, but the poor service and uncomfortable atmosphere make it hard to...
Read moreWe had 6 people, none of us got the same entree. We had Jalapeño Salmon Burger, Blackened Fish Tacos, Ahi Tuna, Ribeye, Atlantic Salmon, and Redfish. Since we were there for a family celebration, we also ordered Smoked Fish Spread, Beignet Style Hushpuppies, Redfish Ceviche, and the Tuna Poke Tower for appetizers.
We had some food! The appetizers were all amazing except for the fish spread. Two of us like food in that type of preparation, and we thought the fish spread was very good. The others were just luke warm. Probably due in part to the fact that the other three appetizers were out of this world good. I thought the ceviche, in particular, was spectacular.
To the main course, the Redfish, Tacos, and Ribeye were easily the winners. Superb flavor and presentation. The Salmon Burger, Ahi Tuna, and Atlantic Salmon were all seriously lacking flavor. The Ahi Tuna was especially a let down because the tuna tower was so good!
The service was as you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was amazing! The atmosphere and decor are great as well. Once inside, you feel like you are at a seafood restaurant in an oceanfront locale.
All in all, Plank is fairly new. With new places, you tend to have highs and lows. That was our experience with Plank. However, more highs than lows. I think Plank will only get better. They will get everything refined. I will...
