I had a bad accident and my wedding ring got damaged.I kept up with my inspections as required for your warranty and I took the ring in to be fixed in 06/03/18 and Pat assisted me.She keep saying she is so sorry that she hopes I’m ok and Helzberg would take care of the ring,not to worry.She said she would call with updates ,she would call if more time was needed and she would call when the ring was ready to be picked up .The ring was promised to be ready on 06/12/18.As printed in the receipt.The day came and NO CALL ,TEXT ,EMAIL,LETTER, from pat or anyone at the store.No updates were given or any correspondence from the store .So I waited until 06/15 to call just in case they may be busy or running behind .So I call and Pat answers,I reminded her of our conversation from when I first came in.She states WE DO NOT CALL PATIENTS WITH UPDATES ON THEIR JEWELRY,OR TELL THEM WHEN ITS READY TO BE PICKED UP.I asked her why she said that when we dropped it off and she stated maybe we misunderstood????Then she apparently couldn’t find the ticket!I gave her all my info minus my social,then finally after repeating the ticket number to her 3 times ,she finds it.she tells me she needs to follow up with the jeweler because she doesn’t have the ring.She said she was going to call him then call me immediately back.I waited 50 minutes and nothing so I call and spoke with Irene and apparently she’s busy.So Irene says she will call me right back.Then about 10 minutes later Pat calls my husband.She tells him the ring isn’t ready.She didn’t bother to give him an estimate or an update about what still needed to be done.He informed me that he had to ask her when the ring would be ready and she just said give it until 06/19 after 6.No apology,nothing. What angers me the most is that I have always had great reps with Helzberg and I usually go to the location in Arlington and have never had any problems or concerns.I would sadly like to inform future customers to avoid...
Read moreWorst jewelry store in DFW. I bought a brand new ring for my Fiancée and had the warranty placed on it for resizing since she has small fingers and I figured it would have to be resized. When I ordered the ring in store I was told it was a size 6 (smallest I could order) when in actuality it was a size 7 which I later found out when the ring arrived. That was not a huge deal to me until I found out that they were going to charge me $100 to place sizing beads in the ring because they could not resize the ring smaller due to "changing the integrity of the ring" even though I purchased the extra warranty package which they stated would cover all future changes to the ring, including resizing. Not one out of the 4 employees that helped me get the ring mentioned that if they had to size down the ring they would have to do it with sizing beads which would cost me $100 extra and not be covered under the warranty. The employees stated they called their store owner to see what they could do and the owner stated that it was too bad and I would have to pay for the beads. Flash forward to a week later when my now Fiancée walked into a zales which stated they could reset the stones on the ring to make it the size she wanted without using sizing beads and affecting the integrity of the ring. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. TERRIBLE business. I purchased a ring and had it sized and the shank enlarged so the ring could be engraved. They gave me a PROMISE date of 2 weeks later. They waited until the promised date to call me and tell me they couldn't put the full 3mm shank on and asked if it's ok to put a 2.5 mm shank. I said yes and asked if it would be ready that day, seeing as it was promised to be done, I was told "Yes". I called back 3 hrs later because I knew they would be closing. I was told, no it wasn't ready it would be ready the next day. I said that was unacceptable because I was going out of state for 1 week. I went today to give them back all their receipts and paper work they gave me and was told I couldn't return the ring because it had been modified already. Well guess what, I'm returning it because I DON'T have it in my possession and I NEVER took it out of the store. I won't be returning to pick it up, so they have no choice but to accept it back, or they lose out on $1200. And I WON'T pay the bill if they decide to still charge me. I refuse to pay for something that I never had. Their excuse for not having it done was because during the 2 weeks they had the ring, they were closed for 3 days and the sales rep was out for 2.
