I have been going to location for about two years. Mostly on special occasions but the last two times I went was ridiculous. I went with a group of six and we arrived at about 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. From the start it was a hassle. The wait for a table for six was long but can tolenrate a wait if the food is good and the serves is equal. But not this night when we were finally seated we was not seated together, next to each other that's OK. After one person seated us another one came later after we had to request menus water and silverware. The third person who brought the menus and silverware out set them down on the table next to us and never said a word to us that they were there. Ok got pass that. Then came the ordering well not did one person come to take our order but three different people at three different times. Mean while we are waiting. Well we get though ordering our meal and the food finally do come after a wait. It"s about five minutes to nine now. In most restaurants we go too and we go to a lot we would be done eating almost home by now. Put the icing on this cake a fourth person come and any us if we needed anything and because the lateness of the hour and the fact we had been there the whole time and no one checked on either table. We just as for the check. Well they had one more surprise in store for us, again someone drop our checks off at a near by table and we had been sitting there for awhile when someone in our group notice them. For the prices they charge for the meals and tips they expect you would expect better serves. I took it personally because I had been there in the pass and never treated that way. Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience my waitress was absolutely wonderful but the service was horrible We ordered our drinks took 20 mins to receive them from the bar and there was a hand full of tables seated when we arrived No reason to wait that long for drinks Our appetizer of fried pickles would barely feed 1 person (came in the tiniest basket I've ever seen) definately not a family of four We ordered our food about 10 mins into the visit we Waited over an hour for food that never showed up We ordered a second round of drinks 30 mins into to our wait Asked the waitress about how long it would be since it's already been an hour since we ordered not since we arrived she told us she had already checked on the food 3 times and she didnt know why it still wasnt ready I asked for a manager she disappeared I van see her in the kitchen talking to whoever's cooking Another 10 mins pass still no manager So I waved her over and told her we are leaving this is ridiculous I've never had such horrible experience with a restaurant So of course once I make a scene then a male "manager" comes over and asks us what the problem is Once I told him he said " so the problem is you've been waiting for an hour" Like apparantly that's not an issue I will never return to this horrible excuse for a restuarant I wish that wonderful waitress best of luck she should find a new place to work because nobody had a damn clue as to what was happening in the kitchen not even the so called manager. Despite being a fan of their salad offerings, I have discovered sharp objects in the salad that ended up lodging into the back of my throat, causing significant discomfort and pain. While I understand that occasional accidents can happen in any restaurant, having encountered the same issue twice raises serious concerns. I strongly urge Red Robin to reevaluate their food preparation processes, especially when it comes to the cleanliness and safety of their salad ingredients.
Apart from this alarming issue, the overall dining experience at Red Robin was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the recurring problem with the salad has overshadowed these positive aspects, leaving me hesitant to revisit the restaurant.
