I purchase one of their top of the line duel pillow top king adjustable bed and mattress along with mattress pad and two sheet sets. I did not realize the bed was faulty until it started ripping the mattress pad and both sheet sets. one side if the bed pulls to the outer edge causing strain on the mattress pad and sheets. I called customer service and they just sent out another mattress pad which is also ripping in the center as well. This bed has a lifetime warranty but what they fail to mention in the store is that you have to pay hundreds of dollars to get someone to come look at a bed that was a factory defect from the beginning. I paid over $7000 for this bed and $$$ on the sheet sets as well. I cant buy new sheet sets because they will just rip too. I have tried customer support and BBB with no help unless I pay hundreds of dollars more just to have them come look at a bed that came out of the factory defected. I feel like a bought a brand new car from a crocked dealership that plugged the radiator leak before they sold me the car. Now I am stuck with ripped sheets and have to hand adjust my $7000 bed every time I move the top up or down. If you have money to blow I guess its ok but I just had neck surgery right after I purchased this bed and thought it would have been something helpful for after the surgery. We were very excited and serious about this purchase. We were told that delivery would take place 3 weeks after purchase. Unfortunately, on the day of our delivery there was inclement weather and we were told that they would not be delivering, completely understandable. However, what is NOT understandable is the rescheduled date Sleep Number insisted could only take place a month later. A MONTH LATER FROM THE ORIGINAL DELIVERY DATE. How is it that a missed delivery date is pushed back so far? Is our delivery not a priority if they were unable to deliver on the intended date that was scheduled nearly a month in advance? After 3 hours on hold with customer service, the customer service rep then hung up on us with no resolution. We happily asked for a full refund and are thrilled to be taking our business somewhere else that takes pride and ownership for their quality of service and makes their customer a priority. Read moreI want to say first walking in there was no pressure. We were greeted by the associate Aaron. I explained to him that my husband and I were highly interested in the beds. This was from me always seeing them on commercials. He asked us questions to get a better understanding of what we were looking for and he was extremely knowledgeable. He explained the different bed options and what each did. We explain how we sleep and the different areas that we were wanting to address and we were able to find the perfect bed that fit our needs! As I previously stated there was never any pressure on if we purchase a bed today tomorrow or next week and I really appreciate that. We walked out same day with a purchase and can't wait to sleep on our forever bed. We already discussed on continuing our business with sleep number! Thank you so much Aaron.
