BEWARE! We opened a line of credit through Synchrony Bank when my husband wanted to buy a piece of jewelry. We paid off the balance but never got the item. They had to refund us the amount, and the account was left at zero. Fast forward 2 years later, we were notified of suspicious activity through our credit protection company. Bellano charged the account for $5000. We immediately called to report the fraudulent charge and Synchrony said they would open an investigation and close the account. We called the physical store and spoke to the general manager who initially hung up on me, but called me back when I threatened to share this experience with others. He said to give him one hour to figure it all out. This is his story. "Someone called the store, and placed a special order for a diamond necklace. The caller gave them my husbands card number, AND THEY CHARGED HIS CARD FOR $5000 WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF VERIFICATION. However, no one ever went to pick up the necklace, therefore, they would immediately refund the money to the account. SOUND LIKE A BUNCH OF BS? ABSOLUTELY. These people are flat out criminals! I asked multiple times how someone would be able to place such an order without any form of verification, and he said "THEY WOULD NOW CHANGE THE POLICY". So, currently anyone can call in and place orders for thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, and how do they protect their costumers? THEY DONT. There is no way a decent business would allow this and then turn around and resolve it within minutes. They even told us they contacted the bank personally and according to them the bank just gave them all my husbands information. Synchrony and Bellano are one and the same. I filed a police report and will follow through with whatever action necessary so they don't try to steal from...
Read moreTERRIBLE! DO NOT SHOP HERE! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH! THESE PEOPLE ARE FOOLS AND SELL FAKE JEWELERY!
If possible i would give no stars. Before i get started, I would like to point out that a good business with good customer service responds to ALL reviews(not just the good ones.) Bellano Jewelers should be ashamed to call themselves such. I can only speak for the store in the NorthEast mall. DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE BEFORE YOU HAVE DONE RESEARCH. The boy who "assisted" me took advantage of my lack of knowledge and sold me a fake "gold chain" i figured it's priced at $1,000 so surely it is real. He claimed he was doing his best to help me out and with the "today only sale" sold me a fake "gold chain" for an agreed upon price of $260 at $20 a month. Boy that was the biggest mistake of my life. Not only did it end up being $40 over the agreed upon price (brings it up to $300) it was double the monthly price of $20 ($40 a month.) I was told no money down and i had to put $10 down. These people are scammers and will do anything to trap you in the strict no refund policy. After i returned upset he tried to put the blame on me. You can't trust these people unless you really know what you're talking about and looking at. I exchanged the chain (same one was sold elsewhere for $85 no discount) for a silver chain (thin, short, and very dirty, not much shine.) I took it to another jeweler and they had bigger, longer, shinier silver chains for HALF OF WHAT I PAID!!! The other jeweler told me i got ripped off and they even cleaned my chain for me and verified this one was legit despite the STEEP PRICE PAID.Ended up paying $300 for a silver chain that was DIRTY...
Read moreI NEVER leave bad reviews ever but I just could not keep this to myself.. my fiancé purchased my engagement ring from here and the diamonds have fallen out 3 times now. I do not sleep with it or shower or do anything with my hands that should cause this issue. The first time it happened, we had it replaced and the same exact stone fell out NEXT DAY. My poor fiancé had to pay $200 to have it put back in because it was only a small stone in the halo so we obviously could not find it. Second time we asked to have the prongs inspected to be sure it wouldn’t happen again.. here we are exactly 30 days later and another stone is gone. When I called about the issue they said I can only upgrade for a new ring IF we choose one double than what my fiancé paid for it and can’t exchange for something the same price.. so the only option is to pay another $2000 for another ring and that’s it. I don’t see how something I’m supposed to wear everyday for the rest of my life should have this many issues and no other way to resolve other than paying thousands of dollars for a new ring since obviously they can’t secure this one. Will make sure my fiancé never deals with these people again cause they obviously don’t care about making things right with their customers and only want more and more money for simple...
