Its been 3 years and I still feel terrible about my experience. My spark just isn't here anymore after they put it out. Was told to " drop out" and to keep the conversation to myself because the other students were "actually trying". I got scolded during class for taking notes ( mods 1-3 were online due to COVID). I felt like I was the only one reading the textbook in my last mod, read 14 chapters by myself. Externship was a nightmare. Hit with doors, ignored, talked down to and informed the school that I had "0 initiative".I even had patients apologize to me for being treated the way I was. I was stuck in a corner to do all their paperwork, that were LARGE STACKS. I contacted my coordinator personally about concerns about my externship and they were in a sense, ignored. I was told that there wasn't going to be a graduation and that I would receive my diploma via mail. Was notified months later that there was going to be a graduation and I can pick up my diploma at the school. 3 years later and never did nor am I certified. I have no confidence at all about my "education". My experience was terrible and I'm still heartbroken. To date, I can't even get a zoom call to inquire about taking the test. I scheduled the meeting 3 days ago. called and the phone rang itself to voicemail, but I figured it was...
Read moreIf I can give zero stars I would. This would be my second time attending this school. I attended for phlebotomy during covid. the teachers and classes where 1000 times better then they are now. I recently rejoined in October of last year thinking I would attend 100% in person classes like I did then. Well after my first mod of two and a half months. They decided to change the way they did things. And in all honesty your pretty much teaching yourself they got rid of most in person classes. I ended up failing a class cause they never made sure we had all the books we needed for classes attended. Well the staff when they changed everything never made sure the previous start students had the proper materials cause they now hand books out when you start. The staff and facility operators don't have a handle on anything. The financial aid people in the school are either unable to help you or they are not in and you wait days for a response. WORST SCHOOL TO GO TO ANYMORE !! teachers that do in person are amazing but not trained properly for new curriculum either . Don't waste your ...
Read moreAbsolute waste of over $20,000 for tuition. The classes aren't structured. There's no communication. They stripped all the machines we had to work on, so we have nothing to get hands on experience with. You'll consistently be thrown in classes with students who are all at different skill levels and different timing in their education with fortis, therefore, hurting your ability to progress. Trust when I say, go somewhere else for a little longer while only paying a 3rd of the price...
