Should have checked all the "rude" reviews before trying Pizza Bella in Forty Fort for the first time, only to be 'greeted' by a young girl we'll call Little Miss Rude and her Pink haired cash register friend who told me verbatim, she thought rude to be funny. Ordered food at 5:15pm and was told food would take an hour. No problem, it's Friday night I expect people to be busy. Arrive with my one year old grandson in tow at 6:25 and wait. After 10 minutes and clearly seeing they are busy (which is to be expected, it's Friday night) I ask Little Miss Rude if she knew how much longer it might be thinking I could take my grandson for a ride if food will be longer. She rolled her eyes and said she didn't know. Okay - I assume she's having a bad day which would have zero to do with me as I just arrived. I get told my car is in the way of someone else so I go out and move my car. Come back in and Little Miss Rude states, "I need you to pay your bill now." Excuse me I ask, shocked at her tone. She said, "I'm going to need you to pay your bill now." I told her I will pay for my food when it's ready. She again demanded that I pay my bill now. Again, I told her, no thank you, I will pay for my order when it's ready. Little Miss Rude then procedes (in my view) to go talk to several people (including those who are making 'my' food) about me, all because I choose to pay for my food when it's ready. In amusement, I kept my mouth shut while observing how clearly more emphasis is placed on delivery orders than the numerous, untouched tabs hanging in front of me, one of which was mine. This is probably why Little Miss Rude demanded I pay ahead of time because then you are at the mercy of Pizza Bella in Forty Forts time frame which was now beyond the hour I was told and clearly tells me people have walked on them before. Fast forward to food arrival around 7pm and Little Miss Rude instead of leaving it alone since I am STILL standing there, says, "Are you going to pay now" while pink haired register girl laughs and snorts beside her. I asked Little Miss Rude why it was necessary to be so rude? She said that I wouldn't pay when she told me to. I said, isn't the customer always right? She said yes. I responded, "rudeness was unwarranted and unacceptable as you never know who you are talking to in business" while pink haired register girl made a comment I didn't have the pleasure of hearing, snorts and laughs. Spoke with Manager/owner who said I wouldn't pay which she and I both know is nonsense since I'm STILL standing there. I have never, in all my life been treated so rudely by any establishment, hence I have never seen need to write ANY public review in my entire life time. This experience was so unacceptable, if I could spare anyone else such an experience, perhaps this review plus all the other numerous poor reviews due to rudeness I read, as well as those I've spoken to since about Pizza Bella in Forty Fort who also report similar rude treatment, than I hope to save someone else the experience. If perhaps these two young girls learn somewhere in their careers, how to treat a paying customer (paying was never the issue, nor was the wait - it's a busy Friday night) then this review (from which I protected their identities due to their immaturity) may serve to help either of those girls as well. As for the manager/owner who hid herself behind the counter the entire time, she was my age, she's a business owner in these times and she should know better if she wants to keep her business the success I hope for all their sakes and despite themselves it is. It's just such a shame because clearly, based on reviews and the opinions of others, I'm not the first, I know I won't be the last. So we'll rest it at this - may God Bless you, your employees and your business forward. Despite your inability to simply be kind (who cares if your customers want to pay when they walk in or be smarter and pay when they actually receive their goods) I wish you...
Read moreThe food here is always excellent. My complaint is in regards to the one employee. When I picked up my order yesterday (June 4th, around 7:30PM), the darker haired woman (she's probably closer to middle aged, also a little plus size/tiny bit chubby) made the comment "My God girl, this is the third time you're here this week." Which was fine. A little uncalled for, but fine. But what bothered me is IMMEDIATELY after that, she turned to her coworker and said right in front of me "I am getting so sick of people". It was obvious she was referring to me. We are always good customers. Yes, we order frequently. But she should be happy about that, since it's more business for them. It's not like we order special items ever, and we never order that much either (at MOST, 2 trays of plain pizza and wings OR a sub). We also always treat the employees well, with the dignity and respect they deserve. We are never rude, bossy, impatient, demanding, or negative to them in any way, so we certainly don't deserve those types of comments made to or about us. They have a sign up in their restaurant that says unkind words towards staff will not be tolerated.... The same standards should be enforced for the staff's words towards the customers. I didn't say anything back to her. (Quite frankly, I was shocked she said what she did.) I just took my food and left. But I definitely won't be ordering here for a long time. Very disappointed by her unprovoked hostility and...
Read moreFirst time customer. If I was rating strictly on one aspect of the experience I'd probably only give 3 stars, but with everything combined I believe a 4 star is fair. The ordering process over the phone could have been better, but it was a Friday night prime time for pizza ordering, so I'll give a pass on that with an understanding of how it is to work in a busy food service business. Order was placed for a pick up, I arrived and my order was ready, but not 100% correct. I caught the mistake before leaving and they were apologetic and made it right quite quickly. The food was "edible" as my wife put it. We tried the Hawaiian, the Taco Supreme, and the Cheesesteak pizzas (6" each). Two of the three appeared to not have been cut... Not a huge deal, I have knives. The toppings were good, but the crust fell a little short for me and seeing how it's a pizza, a good crust is really the foundation for a pleasant dining experience. We'll most likely order again in future to try other menu items, but the pizza won't be making my...
