The Computer Shop — Local services in Forty Fort

Very bad service. It took me a while to write a review, but the situation makes me upset even to this day. I was there some time ago to get my wife's laptop fixed. My wife who works from home, specifically told them not to erase anything off of the laptop and to get PERMISSION FIRST if they had too. The heavy set guy erased everything! Once we realized they erased everything off her laptop, i went back to talk to the heavy set guy. After talking to the heavy set guy, he was very nonchalant and acted as if it wasn't a big deal! All we wanted was for her laptop to move quicker. We had no clue where all the programs were for us to down load again (hence, why we told him not to erase anything!) We had to hunt down all her programs which took an entire day! Luckily, we found it. Over $1000 worth of stuff. I came back and gave him all the programs he ERASED without our permission. He looked surprised that we had everything. (Did he think we stole/pirated all that info). I don't know. But I do know he ONLY put the Microsoft program back on there after i physically handed him all the programs he erased. I was completely diagusted! We had to put everything else back on it ourselves. The least he could have done was give us her laptop back the way it was given to him and follow instructions. Plus an apology would have helped. I would NEVER go back or recommend that place to anyone. Unless, the heavy set...

I wish there was a way to give this place a lower rating. Never in my life have I ever interacted with people with such blatant disrespect and disregard. I brought my laptop in there to get a broken screen fixed. Now granted the computer shop was closing in hour or so, but you would think that a family owned business such as this wouldn’t mind and would want my business. Sharon, who was extremely rude during the entire exchange, was the one who “looked” at my computer. She then proceeded to rip out the entire bottom of my laptop. She tore the bottom panel out along with wiring and the circuit board rendering it useless. Sharon then proceeded to try and up sell me on some of the computers in the store which were disgustingly overpriced. I will never return to this business and I will tell anyone looking for computers/tech repair...

This guy is awful. Dont go there. We took my hp laptop a few years ago to him because it wouldn't power on, he told me it wasn't the power issue, it was my mother board, so i put it away. Now last week we took our gaming laptop to him because the screen didn't come on. He again said yes we needed a new screen, but the mother board was done., so we ordered a new screen, at half his price and put it in ourselves. Well well, it works! We had a guy check our laptop and the mother board is fine.... So we got my old hp laptop out, had our guy check it, and he opened it, and the power harness was not connected, he connected it, and we ordered a new power cord for $12, and again, it works awesome.! I will never go to this...
