Luxury Nails — Local services in Fountain Valley

BEYOND DISAPPOINTING. This used to be my regular-every-two-weeks nail stop when I previously lived here 8 months ago. No matter who did my nails they were always on point and looked fabulous. However I visited them yesterday (4/3) as my welcome home present and I was beyond disappointed. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and they kept trying to persuade me to something else (take it I just wanted acrylics with a top coat-nothing extreme) and told them over the phone and was told it'd be 23$. A male who was seemingly pleasant to chat with was the one doing my nails and after an hour of sitting there they looked HORRID. My right hang thumb nail was pointed severely outward instead of forward, my right hand pinky nail was severely misshapen as well. My right hand nails ended up being super pointy and my left were in ovals. Not what I wanted AT ALL. As well as when I put my fingers next to each other each (pinky to pinky, etc) they are all different lengths. None matched up! And after that hour I didn't have time to have them redo it so I left very unhappy. And on top of all of that when I went to pay he told me it was 28$ (5$ more than I was told over the phone) and held his hand out waiting for a tip! Sad to see my favorite nail salon go downhill since I've been gone. Time to look for a new favorite because I will never be returning...

The people here do a wonderful job I highly recommend Vivian and Vann! These ladies are an awesome team and are very thorough and kind.

Unfortunately as of today September 6th 2019 I will no longer be going to this salon. The reason being is that twice now I have made an appointment well in advance and upon arriving I am asked to wait 5 minutes sat down and put my feet to soak.

Today was the last straw, I'm happy they are busy and that keeps them in business but when someone makes an appointment you must keep it.

Don't have them sitting waiting for 20 minutes in cold water and then have them wait another 10 minutes to still not have been serviced. I've been coming here almost two years now and I'm sad to say I have to go.

As for me I'm a single mother of three children and it is not easy for me to treat myself, as I need to make arrangements for someone to stay with my children so that I can take one hour of my hectic life to relax. I should not have to sit in that chair worrying that I'm going to be late to get back to my children because I was told I had an appointment and then I have to wait 20 minutes into the only hour I have and then to be rushed out the door...

The service is great. However the new owner is a nightmare. Been going to my girl forever but this new owner has ALWAYS something to say to me. It’s between chiming in on how bad my nails are to get gel x mind you no one asked her opinion I was talking to my nail lady or telling me come back she’s busy and walking away mind you had an appointment or telling me not to call her and call the business. Mind you every time I call she’s not available but via text she is. I don’t know if it’s racially motivated bc I’m Hispanic or she just doesn’t like me but her treatment is disgusting. I love my nail tech but not at the expense of being treated like this. And charged 70 for what exactly? Prices go up with no...
