This store is huge, so there’s a lot to choose from. The pricing is not great considering the other options in the area. Some items marked as “on sale” are still higher in price than other stores. The staff is so so, you’ll find some people excited to assist you and others (especially the cashiers) act like they hate the fact they have to check out your items if they aren’t busy playing with their phone. The sushi selection, deli selection and seafood area are great. The cheese selection here is crazy! The armed security guard at the front is off putting but the shady vehicles and randoms in the parking lot after dark make it sorta make sense. I do like that that they carry Carhart clothing as well. Overall I’d say the place is nice as it was just built on 2025, however the paper bags fall apart, the self checkout is buggy and the staff is so-so. The pricing could be better, it’s kind of insulting to see the same product for 4-5 dollars more at this store versus other grocery stores. For example, a 12 pack of soda is 10.99 here but they are “on-sale” give me a break. This location forced the local speed limit to decrease by 10mph in an already congested area, causing even...
Read moreThe grand opening was brilliant, well done! I really felt welcomed to the store and am looking forward to my return.Thrilled we finally have another area grocery store. Hope the quality of products and service doesn't diminish. Welcome to the area!
*UPDATE * I have been to this store a few times now since opening and here are a few concerns. There is never a lane open besides self-check out. If I wanted to have a grocery store job, I'd get one.... If I'm doing all this work, I should get a discount.
The produce section has not been the same quality as opening day. We bought bananas last night and today already look bad. The grapes look horrible and what time of day or day of week do I need to come to be able get Roma tomatoes and cucumbers?
I'm so bummed, I really was hoping that we'd get something of quality down this way after years of being subjected to poor quality goods. It didn't last a month and we are back to being treated like peasants. Please...
Read moreLiving here around Fountain and Southern Colorado Springs for 19 years, King Soopers has always been the store for me to shop at, so I'm happy to see a new store open in Fountain, I had to come see it for myself and do some shopping while driving by with my family, it is definitely the best looking King Soopers, it is clean and tidy, the entrance to the store is welcoming, we were offered a free sushi sample and the sushi was delicious, I'd even say it's the best store in the area. Unfortunately however, my shopping experience and mood was brought down when one employee, Keegan, was extremely rude and disrespectful to us, we asked him where we can find a specific product but he did not take us to the product and instead walked away disrespectfully and just had an awful attitude toward us, it was a very unpleasant experience and we left the store with a soured mood. The experience started promising, but that unpleasant interaction left us...
