Have always used this pharmacy since I was little for my medications. Usually I don’t have issues. I am pregnant and had my OB fill out a prescription for nausea medication for me, sent to this pharmacy WEEKS ago. It should have been ready same day. I have been suffering with nausea and constant sickness for weeks waiting for them to fill my prescription for me. I decided I had enough today and tried to call to see what was going on, the pharmacist on the line told me they “had never received anything”… so I call my OB office and it turns out it DID go through weeks ago. They called the pharmacy to see why I hadn’t gotten my medication yet. The pharmacy DID have it, but refused to tell them why they didn’t want to fill my prescription for me (???) and were suddenly able to fill it today for me (???). Seems really sketchy that they refused to tell my OB why they didn’t want to fill out a nausea medication prescription for a pregnant person and decided to let it just be forgotten about instead of contacting me or my OB about it if there were any issues regarding filling it out. Why lie to me about whether or not you have my medication when I directly called and asked??? Aside from the pharmacy, I had an incident a while back here where I had been literally followed around nonstop the store by a young girl working there when I was shopping around asking if “I was done, am I ready to be checked out, am I done, do I have everything I need, am I done?” NONSTOP, as if I was stealing or not allowed to be there. Was such an uncomfortable experience as someone that grew up in this area and has used this Walgreens since the early 2000s. Will not be using this pharmacy anymore, the longer drive to Walmarts pharmacy...
Read moreLet me begin by saying if I could rate with zero stars I would, but that isn’t an option. I received a phone notification that my prescription was ready for pick up at the pharmacy six days ago (on a Saturday morning). I went to the pharmacy the following Wednesday to pick it up and waited in line 25 minutes only to be told it was not ready. The cashier said it would take 45 minutes to fill it! I told her I would just come back the next day (Thursday) to get it. On Thursday I called in the morning to find out it still wasn’t ready, and I called later that afternoon and got the same recorded message. I called this morning (Friday) and got the same message, so I finally figured out how to actually speak to a person and they said they could have it ready in 15 minutes. So, I went to pick it up this evening and waited in the line for one hour with my grandson who had an appointment for a vaccine. We stood at the cash register for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out if he had a scheduled appointment. They couldn’t find it because he appeared to be late since we waited in line so long, his appointed time has passed even though we got there 20 minutes early as they requested. Then they told us to have a seat and told us to fill out paper work while we waited some more for someone to give him the vaccine. We were told it could be a while. We told them we were done waiting and walked out without getting the vaccine. I don’t think the people behind the counter could move any slower if they tried. I counted at least six people back there. I AM DONE WITH THIS PLACE! I did finally get my prescription, but that’s the last prescription they...
Read moreI’m going to add to the numerous complaints about this pharmacy too. I’ve used this Walgreens to fill medications since I moved to Fountain a few years ago, and it’s considerably worsened over time. Tonight was the last straw for me filling anymore prescriptions here as well. I’m less than a week post-op for knee surgery, and my doctor called in my pain meds at 1:00 this afternoon. My husband went to try to pick them up around 5:00, and he was told he couldn’t wait there in line (for all of 15 mins) so he’d need to come back. We went back to try and pick up my medicine around 8:30 PM (because we were told it was ready for pickup) and whoever we spoke to at the drive-up window was incredibly rude, uncaring, and complacent. She said that she was “unable to sell anything” because their system was down and she did not offer any time frame as to when it would be back up or what we should do in the meantime. When my husband asked her questions and explained that I need my medication because I’m post-op, she just repeated herself stating she’s “unable to sell anything”. She couldn’t have cared less. This isn’t the first time the pharmacy has treated me and my husband like garbage, but it is the last. I will never fill another prescription here and would advise anyone needing any sort of maintenance medication or emergency refill to go elsewhere. It’s not our fault that they’re understaffed but the pharmacy staff certainly acts like it is. On a side note, most of the store employees are nice though. I’ve always liked Alexis and she’s always been friendly and courteous but she clearly doesn’t have anything to do with the pharmacy...
