I'll start off by saying that my experience with this clinical location was a joke. Everything started off well. I called Banner's appointment number to schedule a same-day appointment with a doctor. My primary just left the Banner a few weeks prior and I was now in a transition period for a new PCP. The scheduling desk turned me onto Dr. Nadia Lind's office even though it's not my normal location. No worries. I figured I could be seen for an acute issue that sprung up.
Get to the clinic, the receptionist was cheerful and got me all checked in. Great! And then is all went downhill from there.
About 5 minutes later, what I believe to be the nurse comes to the front, calls me over, and then asks why I need to be seen. First off, shouldn't this already be in my appointment chart? Second, you're asking me to explain my ailment in front of a room of people? If it was something major or embarrassing (which it wasn't but...) wouldn't this violate HIPPA as now you are openly asking me to discuss some of my medical history? She then proceeds to tell me that Dr. Lind cannot see me for the acute reason I am there for because certain tests would need to be ordered and that can only be done by my PCP since Dr. Lind would not do those tests.
Two problems here. One, as mentioned before, I currently do not have a PCP fully established because the PCP I had for years just left Banner and I am awaiting for a new PCP. Second, is it really that hard for a Dr. to simply see you and give you their best assessment if an ailment is something to be concerned about or not, without having a test immediately submitted? I mean you're a doctor and should have formal training to identify the majority of ailments of the average human being. The nurse then tells me I can come back 3-days later when other doctors at the facility accept "walk-ins" and can order any necessary tests. Really? Just hang out for three days without any possible diagnosis unless I decide to go to an emergency room, wait 8 hrs to be seen, and then perhaps the ailment is simple such as take Tylenol and call it a day, not to mention the cost of an ER visit? Uh, no thanks.
Hopefully changes can be made at this clinic location to help better serve its members, but I won't hold my breath. And for the Banner liaison who unfortunately has to read this review, no need to reply with a generic blanket response asking me to fill out some form. Everything that needs to be said is written above and can be utilized to help speak to, and/or train your...
Read moreMy first visit in October with Jasminder Bardin was spectacular, she was so kind and genuinely seemed to care about me and my health. She made me excited to take care of myself properly, however, my visit on February 10th, 2025 was abysmal and disappointing. To start, I had originally had to reschedule the appointment a few times due to providers leaving the clinic and other issues on the office’s side. On the 10th, the line for check-in took over 30 minutes making me around 12 minutes “late” for my appointment, the front desk staff was rude about me being “late” and tried to reschedule me, even though another employee had come to the lobby, called me for my appointment, saw I was in line to check-in and told me to wait. Then when I got to meet Candace Napier, she was belittling and rude to me. She kept asking me why I had my appointment after I had explained the problems I was experiencing, like my health issues were a waste of her time and repeatedly asked me what I wanted her to do when I explained what I was experiencing. This experience left me upset and embarrassed. I ended up crying in my car for around 30 minutes after I left. I had a appointment scheduled for a women’s wellness exam in March and cancelled it that night, since I wouldn’t trust that woman with a goldfish, let alone doing an invasive procedure like my first Pap Smear. I’ve decided to return to the Banner provider I was seeing a few years ago in Peoria, even though it is farther away and slightly inconvenient, because they at least treated me with respect. Mind you, I also ended up paying $115, after insurance, for this...
Read moreBeen going here for over 10 years. I thought staying with the same primary care office I'd supposed to be good to build relationship with physician, give them chance to know you and your medical health with every visit or physical. But maybe I was wrong. They take your trust and faith in them for granted. Saw the same nurse practitioner for 15 years and I got really sick in the past couple and needed help, she didn't care at all to help me or treat my illness. I had to specifically request every lab test, blood test, heart test, mammogram, and ultrasound. Her definition of a "physical exam" was just asking her standard questions only without any treatment. And even though I told her how severe my symptoms were affecting my ability to function and work as a single mom in my daily life, that didn't seem to matter to her at all. Didn't even suggest a treatment option. I'm in the medical field so I know what she was doing was "negligence". So I've been looking for another doctor and I found a functional doctor. I'm so happy he's been treating me for past 2 months and I'm actually feeling better than I've felt in past 3 years. He's treating the cause of my symptoms, giving me natural supplements that my body needs to function properly. Things that this nurse practitioner should have been able to figure out on her own but now I just realize she didn't only not care, she's incompetent in every sense of the word and I wish I had seen it sooner. Im just sad that it took me so long to make the decision to find a better and more competent provider. Find yourself a functional doctor. This...
