Very pleased with the service i received from NOS Computers! I purchased a custom PC that i wanted strictly for gaming. Before i did, I wanted to make sure i wasn't buying more than i needed. NOS Computer's was located right down the road from my office so I stopped by to ask question's and was very impressed not only with the amount of knowledge they shared, but also with how professional they were about sharing it. No sales pitch. No pressure. Only an enthusiasm to better help me understand each component they were recommending and how it will better serve my needs. By the time i walked out of their establishment, I felt even more confident in what I wanted and how much i was willing to budget. I decided to spend my money with them and I'm happy I did. I recommended (2) of my friends to speak with them as well before buying elsewhere, and they also shared my thought and decided to go with them as well. I purchased my PC almost 2 years ago and have had no issues with its performance.
Today I called in because I was having an issue with one of my games not connecting to the servers. Totally unrelated to what you'd expect them to solve for their customer's but I couldn't figure it out after googling and watching YouTube videos. I called in, explained to them the issue and without hesitance they offered to "remote in" through the AnyDesk program to take a look at my security/network settings. Within 10 minutes they were able to diagnose my problem and had it fixed in no time.
FREE OF CHARGE.
Talk about a follow up AFTER the sale. I highly recommend NOS Computer's for any of your basic/advanced needs. They're professionals. They're knowledgeable. And more importantly; they CARE about their customers before/during/and after the sale....
Read moreDo not bring your gaming PC here. I asked the technician to lower my CPU temps, he hardly asked me any questions about my PC and just wanted me to leave it there. All he did was manage my cables and mess with my fan curves even though I had already set the fans to full blast. The technician also ended up gluing all my RGB cables together (without even asking). I had to reroute my RGB cables so I could control them how I wanted and ended up breaking a cable because of the glue. The whole time the tech thought the RGB cable for my AIO was my pump cable so he rerouted just rerouted my AIO RGB cable and said my PC was good. He literally thought the RGB was the pump cable. CPU temps are running exactly the same as when I dropped off my PC, if not worse (constant 90*C playing Elden ring). I thought they were going to tweak my bios settings or tell me my AIO was bad. They charged me $100 just to manage my cables and did nothing to my CPU temps. Truly a bad experience, these guys don't know what...
Read moreWhile they did replace my charging port and works I am not okay with having to give my computer login information to have hardware replace. I would strongly recommned that if a company needs access to a computer for any reason they inform members they should create a basic profile for them should they actaully need access to the softare for any reason. Being in Account Security giving access to personal infomation (even just a computer login) is not okay and a security risk. I am extremely frustrated as now my computer settings are changed and it does not take a password to login as they have disableed this feature. Yes, I can turn it back on and have but changing PERSONAL settings on a computer is not okay! There were not given permission to access my computer just...
