I phoned HSG and asked if they would except my retro Couch and Love seat set. I was asked to email pictures, I sent several shots of all different angles. I received an email back saying that they would accept the set on consignment for 90 days. I delivered the set to their location, they took them in happily and I signed a contract for 90 days. Less than a month after dropping off my the set I received a phone call asking me to come and pick up the set or they can donate it. It was stated that no customers showed any interest nor that they had received any inquiries about the set. Needless to say I signed a 90 day contract with them. I told the associate I did not want them to donate the set. As I went to pick up the set I noticed pieces of it where placed all over and the couch frabric was face down on the dirty warehouse floor. I purchased an $1800.00 dining table, .I checked this table thoroughly with my husband and 2 salesmen...we don't own truck so we opted to have it delivered...when we received it one of the legs was broken...I knew that items are sold as is...at that time nothing was broken...we called the store they requested an email and picture..they responded stating they had to run it by the manager, John...we got a response stating that was how they purchased it...I proceeded to call Greg, one of the salesmen who helped us check the table out, he stated, he would speak to John then get back to,us.....of course this never happened...I shop small businesses, owned in and around Tucson... I can't understand or believe John the manager is so busy he cannot handle this issue, be forwarned before shopping at Home...

When we were forced to sell some furniture, we agreed to their contract which states that any items not sold within 6 months needs to be picked up from the property or Home Style gets to keep the items.
