Thunder Lizard — Local services in Four Corners States

I have loved everything about each of my experiences with these folks! They are extremely knowledgeable about their craft, very easy to talk to and work with, and very willing to help those who, like me, know nothing about beads or making jewelry. They have helped me multiple times over the years (both in-store and online via their Facebook page) and the exemplary service has been consistent!

My mother is VERY picky about her jewelry and has very specific ideas/preferences for what she likes and dislikes. After years of looking for a necklace for her, I finally found Thunder Lizard while visiting a friend that lived in the area. After I described the necklace I had been searching for, they gathered the necessary materials and made the necklace right on front of me! This shop is case in point on why patronizing a local family owned store is the best and this place is a treasure. I bought some gorgeous pieces created by Scarlet last October and through my own carelessness I broke the clasp on my necklace. I took it to my local jeweler for repair and I was dissatisfied as it broke almost immediately again and was going to require it to be restrung. I contacted Thunderlizard and Scarlet reached out immediately and offered to do the repair at no cost. She stayed in communication while it was being shipped, during the repair, and again after it was sent back to me which was enormously comforting. Had been thinking about making my own turquoise beaded necklace and stopped in to a couple of other bead shops but this one had a great variety and reasonable prices.
