The food is always pretty good for fast food. That holds true for most Sonic Drive-Ins I've ever been to. No complaints there. The reason for the 4 stars is this: I went to order about a week ago. I pulled into stall #7, pushed the button, and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. You get the picture. I tried the button a couple more times then noticed that the little "status" bar showed that my "order" was in the kitchen. Huh. I finally decided the machine was broken and changed stalls. I pulled into stall #16, pushed the button and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. Sound familiar? I finally went to the actual drive thru and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After 20 minutes in 2 broken stalls and another 15 in line (35 minutes for fast food!), I finally got to the window to receive my food. I explained what happened to the employee at the window who then told me, "Oh. We know those are broken. My manager said we're too busy to go tape a sign out there." Wow. A restaurant where, every 30 seconds, some employee walks outside RIGHT PAST THOSE STALLS but they didn't have time to tape a sign up? At least the food was good and fresh. This would have gotten 2 stars except for one, half the wait time was me being too stupid and bullheaded to move. I should have realized immediately that the machine was broken and moved or, better yet, gone to the drive-thru in the first place! And two, the employee at the window, Adam, was the NICEST, most attentive, courteous employee I've ever run into at a fast food joint. It's not the employee's fault that the manager wouldn't let them tape up a sign. She was genuinely apologetic for the manager's actions, provided impeccable customer service, and was friendly to talk to. So listen up Sonic! Your employee earned you another star! Definitely a good place to eat. Just didn't use much common sense that day when it came to taking 2 seconds to warn customers that their stalls...
Read moreExtremely unsatisfied. I used to be a regular customer, sonic can put out a killer burger. But there service sucks not once but three times in a row I received bad service the wrong food that it came to where I refused to go eat there. It had been 3 to 4 months my friend chose go eat there since he was buying I agreed with a warning on their service. Greatly things went well where I thought finally got employees who care about there customers. In a time bind and starving I thought I give them second chance and for what my order was taken worker tells me the amount then repeats my order and hands up which was wrong so I called in made sure it was corrected. Car hoop comes with meal first thing coke wrong size car hop nicely go in to fix it I open burgers and notice all three were wrong. And to make things worse my daughter was working there when I stopped eating there so I knew from first hand the crap that went on inside. Glad she found...
Read moreI’m a door dasher here in Taos New Mexico and there are times that our customers orders come out pretty quick but that usually in the night the day crew they like ignore there DoorDash orders they take forever we would be sitting there for like half an hr just waiting for them to answer the red button that we press to get our customers orders! People order door dash so that way when the person goes and picks up the order it will be done when they get there n handed to them asap!!!! N if it’s just drinks or shakes or slushes those orders should be out right away first no matter if there was somebody ahead of them the customers drinks shouldn’t just sit there just because someone ordered before them doesn’t mean they should be waiting for there order that only has drinks door dash orders and orders with just drinks should be first. Carhops need to be more respectful and they need to start caring about there orders...
