My husband and I were vacationing in the area. After finishing riding the Betsie Valley Trail ride noticed that my tubuless tire was leaking a watery like fluid out of the back tire at the valve stem. We had one more ride we wanted to ride this week and I have a gravel race on Saturday, in Charlotte Mi. Timing wise there was no way to get my bike into my bike shop back at home. So I did a Google search for a bike shop near me and found Coastline Cycles and took a chance. WOW, I could not have been happier with their sales and customer service!!! They Fixed my bike right up!! Then my husband started asking questions about what they could do to help him with his bike fit as his hands were going numb after only a couple of miles into a ride. The next day we brought his bike in, switched out the handle bar and stem and after a quick trial ride he said that was it!! Super nice and very...
Read moreRiding the Betsie River Trail - and I notice that Rick's back tire is "sort of" wobbling as he rides. Doesn't look good. He gives the brake pads a slight adjustment - but that doesn't seem to help. Since I don't like getting dizzy watching that tire - we stopped at Coastline Cycles when we got in to Frankfort. The mechanic was available to take a look "in a few minutes" to see if they could fix the issue. We took a walk in the neighborhood - and came back to learn that he had a broken spoke, which also caused the brake pads to be out of alignment. Made perfect sense. He could fix it if we could give him an hour or so. It was lunchtime for us - so we said yes. Walked in to Frankfort, had lunch, walked back, and picked up the bike. Spoke is fixed, brakes are aligned - his bike is running smoothly. Greatly appreciate the customer service, the efficient and quick fix. Highly recommend...
Read moreStopped by here on our mini vacation. Rented a couple electric bikes for the first time and did not regret it. The store owner was very knowledgeable and polite. Set us up really quickly and qualified us on the bikes we chose. I didn't know how fun electric bikes could be and neither did my husband. There were many times I caught him with a huge smile on his face (even though he didn't want to do it at first, pfft). The store owner was gracious enough to refund the hours we couldn't use since they were closing early that day. The trail is right behind the store and goes on for miles. I highly recommend taking a ride up to Crystal Lake. It was one of the clearest lakes I have ever seen. Just remember not to keep the throttle open the whole time because you may find that you will have to pedal back across some hills. Highly...
