I went shopping here last Saturday and bought a lot of stuff. I don’t live anywhere close to the area, I thought I’d check this location out since I frequent my home location. It was quite messier than my normal location. The cashier struggled to get the security tag off of a pair of shoes I purchased. I was charged for the shoes, then once I got home I went to put the shoes on…. The cashier didn’t bag the shoes. Which was a heartbreak because i cant drive back to the location to pick the shoes back up. No biggie though, I just wanted my money back. I called and spoke to a manager the next day who said she couldn’t do anything, & gave me a 1800 number. I was in contact with corporate the very next day. The girl told me I would hear back from them by the end of the day. I sent an email with my receipt the next morning. This was either Monday or Tuesday. It’s now Friday and nobody has called me back. I called and asked for an update yesterday, the girl was rude & said the manager at Kent has been off (all week long though?), therefore I can’t get my refund. I finally had enough & called my credit card company to dispute the charge since the physical store & corporate aren’t mindful with their customer service skills. I don’t mind if mistakes happen, but if your employee forgot to bag my item, there’s no reason as to why I went almost a week with no communication and no refund. I hate writing bad reviews, but I work in customer service and this process has been unacceptable. Never leave a customer hanging longer than 48 hours after your establishment made...
Read moreCompared to the one that's in Aurora Ohio this one can take some notes from them. Everything is scatterbrained in that store. There is nothing sorted out from size anywhere in there. Everything is just put on the racks and then that's it. It's up to you to figure out what size is where. I've seen goodwills in worse neighborhoods that have better organizing than this store. Shopping at the store was very frustrating and I will never go back. I even tried asking a staff member where are the skirts and what size are these clothes on the racks and they couldn't tell me. Also, when I was there, a lot of the staff was outside having a conversation in the parking lot. They couldn't have been on break because I got there right as they opened. Instead of being outside having conversations maybe they should have been at the cashier counters relieving some of the load from the line that was steadily growing. There was only one guy handling everybody's purchases.
Update: there's nothing you can say that can justify that disorganized mess and the fact that the sizes weren't labeled on the racks. You can't tell me that y'all don't just throw things on the racks. S, M, L, XL, etc were everywhere. Don't make me go back there and take pictures to...
Read moreThis Gabes has definitely had a change in management and not for the better. One particular manager always has something to want to correct your kids on doing. I could see if there running around screaming pulling on racks. That is not the case I’m targeted every time I’m in this gabes as of lately by the same manager. I then started paying attention how she talks with the employees at this location. She isn’t professional what so ever! She’s one of those people who gets a title and thinks they rule the world. I’m a huge spender in this store and have been for many years but I will no longer continue to shop her having my kids targeted for being good! She needs to be taken off her high horse and fired! I’ve been a supervisor for many years and her behavior would not be tolerated! Didn’t catch her name but she was on duty at 1:30 pm on October 3, 2021. Tell her to mind her business about others people’s children unless they are doing something that is harming/disrupting her...
