Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar — Restaurant in Kent

Was the first time my daughter and I ordered from here, placed an order online, went to pick it up and walked in, it was not busy at all, not ONE employee acknowledged we were there. Didn’t say “hi,”or “we will be with you in a minute,” or “how can I help you?”. My daughter and I stood there for a few minutes before I had to say I was here to pick up my order that said was ready, which was ONE large smoothie(if I didn’t say anything, who knows how long we would of been standing there). They gave me my smoothie (no straw) and I at least got a “have a good day” response. Smoothie was amazing, but lack of customer service. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location. Delicious smoothies! The reason I am giving Kent Pulp a 3 stars is because the staff is extremely rude and this is well known around town. I have never been to a smoothie bar where almost all of the employees are unwelcoming. If you say thank you they stare at you. If you ask how their day is they stare at you. If you ask a question they act like you are creating an extreme inconvenience. I have been going to this pulp for years and have only been treated kindly twice. Unfortunately this is the only pulp that is close to my home. It’s a shame the girls seem so unhappy that they can not even deliver mediocre customer service. Smoothies are fabulous but you need to at least pretend to like your job....fake smile...

Agree with others that if I could give a zero I would. Sat in the drive through for over half an hour just to pull up to the window and have an employee walk up next to the window after 5 minutes, make eye contact, say nothing, and walk away to serve customers inside. The three cars in line behind us all left at different points in the wait. We finally pulled away after another five minutes of being ignored. This is not abnormal here. We’ve been here many times and the majority have been long wait times and occasionally rude staff.
