They were absolutely HORRIBLE! If I could give them less than one star I would. I had gone with Men's Warehouse originally but after talking to one of the groomsmen, he suggested I go see if Jos A Bank was a cheaper alternative. My fiancé and walked in, asked how big the sizes in their suits go, since we had 2 groomsmen that were 6'4'' or taller and big, they said that was not going to be an issue, we made the group for the wedding and they asked for a 40 dollar deposit, which we paid, my fiancé got measured for his suit and we were told that was all we needed to do. One of our groomsmen went in to get measured for his suit and they said our group didn't exist. I got to the store and they were apologetic, and said they created the group again in the system. The groomsmen got measured, and we left. Later that night I called to change something on the group, they told me that they had no record of the group number. I again spoke with Kristin and she told me that she thought we were going to order all suits at the same time, I told her NO for the 3rd time and she said she was going to give me another group number for the rentals (ties) and one for the purchase (suits). Weeks passed and I thought it was weird that my fiancés suit hadn't come in, I called the store and they said they hadn't ordered it because we needed to pay for it. we again had to go to the store where he had to get measured (again) and we ordered the suit. After some time had passed, the "big and tall" groomsmen went to get measured and they told him they didn't carry a suit large enough for him (after they had assured me they did). He went to another store and got priced for a suit his size. He got a call saying they could possibly have a suit he could rent that would match the wedding party, he went and got measured, they ordered the suit and they had to send it back 3 times because it didn't fit. One that he wasn't fully comfortable in but had to make work showed up the night before the wedding. as for the rentals, they told me it was going to be 5 dollars per tie, what they didn't say was that there was 15 delivery fee! If I would have known that I would have found ties for them somewhere else. Go somewhere else!!! This store at least was...
Read moreI don’t know if this review is specifically for this location in Franklin, or if it should be for the rental service in its entirety, but it needs to be stated. I had the worst experience Of my life renting a tuxedo from Jos. A. Bank. While it may seem minor to some, it was a huge deal to me.
I was attending a wedding in New Jersey, and I was in a bit of a rush to get to an event when I picked up my tuxedo rental from Jos. A. Bank in Clifton, NJ Thursday evening, 4/4/24. It was an Indian wedding, so every day after that was filled with traditional events, so I didn’t have the chance to try it on. On Sunday evening, I was supposed to be at the wedding venue at 5 o’clock for bridal party pics. At 4:30, I tried on my tuxedo, and the pants were 6 inches too short. They were literally halfway up my calf. In a haste, I called Jos. A. Bank and they told me to go to the closest Men’s Wearhouse, because they had an on-site tailor who could fix my issue.
Men’s Wearhouse was absolutely phenomenal! I’m going to review them separately. I had to get an emergency Uber from my hotel to the Men’s Wearhouse, and their tailor and employees were able to resolve my issue quickly and efficiently. All told, the entire experience took about 15 minutes, and they resolved an issue that wasn’t theirs to begin with all at no cost to me. I was 15 minutes late to the venue (this was an issue because I was a groomsman), but all is well. But the fact that I had to be in such a state of panic for an issue like this is...
Read moreI'm not getting rid of the old review. I just want to make sure people know that Jos A. Bank did right by us. My son got a suit that looks great on him and fits perfectly. I couldn't ask for better service. We exchanged a few emails. They got us in there gave us a new suit without charging us and even gave us the money back for the tailor. I especially want to thank Sam Uselton, he went above and beyond helping us. He made my son feel very comfortable. Again thank you guys for all your help. It's really appreciated. Now my son has a suite he is comfortable in and can proudly wear.
Don't waste your money. I spent over $500 on a fitted suit for my son to go to prom and so that he would have a nice suit. Unfortunately I didn't go in the store with him when he picked it up. The man that fitted him told me they would fit him so there would be a little room to grow because my son is only 17. The suit did look nice but it was almost too small only 3 weeks after purchasing it. So I have a 500 hundred dollar dust collector now. The salesman tried to keep adding things without asking me. Like shoes, belt, and ties. We did get the shoes and belt but I refused to buy a bow tie for $50. I went to cheap ties on line and bought...
