Ardor Home — Local services in Frederick

Great gem in the heart of Frederick! I’ve been here twice already within 2 weeks. I stopped here on Feb. 12 to pick out a Valentine’s Day gift. The man who assisted me was very kind and helped me decide on a great home decor piece that was an absolute success at home! I returned yesterday Feb. 22 with the wife and got a few more home decor pieces and a gorgeous one-of-a-kind buffet table.

I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for a wide variety of various furniture styles and home decor items. They also have an impressive collection of rugs that I will return to explore in the future.

My wife and I were killing time while we were Waiting for dinner and entered the store. There were two people (a lady and a gentleman) sitting behind the checkout stand/desk.

We were never greeted by the two, they just continued working on their laptops.

As we walked around, they never made the effort to ask us if we needed assistance. We found a beautiful “high top” table made out of wood along with the 4 high top stools. We were talking about it pretty loudly and still not even a mention of help. We would have bought it, but clearly the store does so well, it doesn’t need to sell furniture.

I popped into Ardor Home last Sunday, casually looking for a lamp I didn't need but you know, wouldn't be bad to have another one. I didn't find a lamp, but I did find a gorgeous rug perfect for the living room area of my apartment. The store has a relaxed atmosphere, he let me browse, let me know if I needed help he was there and I was able to wander and find the perfect thing I wasn't even looking for! The rug is stunning and nice and soft. Makes an extra great layer of padding under my yoga mat. I felt the price was more than reasonable, and will go back for a few more area rugs. And maybe find...
