It's a great place to relax and unwind and if someone wants they can hang a hammock in the tree and hang out all day on a slow summers day. The clock tower activates around 8 or 9am I believe M-F . I think the hours of activation on the weekend differs and I think the hours of activation during the year differs as well . During the year at times primarily on the weekend and day time it plays various chimes. Around Christmas it plays various Christmas songs, occasionally the national anthem. I maybe wrong but some Christian hymnals. There is about a 100' stone patio that leads to the memorial and also goes all the way around it. What compliments the patios and a two tier stair casings is on both the north and south sides of the memorial is 🌹 bushes lined along side the patios. There are also black iron benches at the foot of the memorial, East & West benches down from the north side next to some trees and at least 2 maybe 4 benches that line the 100' patio. Walking away from the south side of the memorial on the patio will lead you to a water fountain that will be in full service by late March. It has the same type of layout as the memorial, benches, Rose 🌹 bushes . So come on down to the great clock tower in wonderful Baker 🏞️ bring your hammock and hangout for a while. And while you're at it gaze over to the creek and watch the DECOY WHITE GEESE keep the Canadian Geese off the walk path near the falls from dropping 3lb bombs on the path where everyone walks.
