It's a nice place to go to and reflect on the ones that went before me. It's a memorial that memorializes all the soldiers who fought in world war 1 & 2 Korean war Vietnamese war the wars that came during the 80s and 90s as well as the war in Afghanistan. I have relatives and Friends of my family that are on world wars 1 and 2 & Korean memorials. It's a respectful looking very clean looking well-kept memorial it's not a place for just anybody to come to and do whatever like at a public regular Park plus also charge my phone at the Korean memorial which my father's name should be on there but it is not neither is two of my uncle's. There are two different kinds of benches there over a dozen wooden benches and iron benches the wooden benches have iron frames plenty of trashcan receptacles trash cans are enclosed around iron gated trashcan coverings. The memorials are well-lit at night and the memorials are illuminated with Amber lights as well as tall Street lamps the pole lamps are black with big white globes at the top there are extremely large trees in the park for squirrels Hawks birds of all kinds living in harmony with each other in the park and I feed the squirrels and birds nuts or bread sometimes when I go there. If they don't eat them the insects will such as ants and yellow jackets. There are four entrance ways to the park some of the patios around are unlevel and are slated to be repaired. There are also four or five flag poles most of the flag poles are more than 30 ft tall , one US flag Maryland flag Frederick county flag one POW war flag. MAYBE A CITY OF...

The park on land donated by the Evangelical Reformed church lie buried the remains of some 450 (+,-) persons. I visited here on both Memorial Day and the Fourth and found it sad that most folks were just...

This place shows Frederick cares about their history and the people who helped make it. This place is quiet and the memorials and benches are nicely kept, also not a far stroll...
