From their carefully manicured personal staff profiles attached to every email, you would think that this is a group of offbeat, creative, and caring individuals. The reality is not so cheery. Staff is rude and uncaring, and totally indifferent to trying to fix mistakes they have caused. Apparently customer service is an antiquated notion. Expect your order to arrive late. And missing items. Which you will later be told are now out of stock. Even though they were clearly in stock when they were available for purchase in the first place. You could have gotten these items elsewhere when you placed the order. But now they are out of stock everywhere. This information could have been explained at some point, during the many months and email exchanges. When you express your frustration at the situation, you will be quickly brushed off, as you are simply an annoyance to these quirky poseurs. Read moreI have been shopping online at Pink Door Fabrics for many years. Chelsea (owner) kept us all sane during Covid with EPP kits to keep our hands busy. We are excited that PD now has a retail location, not just online shopping. I stopped by their retail store today with a quilt dilemma. What a gem Lisa is at fabric problem solving! We were debating what fabric to use and decided that one of the fabrics that I already had would be great, but I had less than a yard and needed more yardage to get the intended effect. Lisa said she thought there was some of this discontinued fabric in their warehouse nearby. How could she possibly know that with so much fabric in the warehouse and store? She was right! And the fabric was on sale because it was discontinued! I have not completed this project because I was trying to find "the right fabric." Now, back to work. Thank you Chelsea, Lisa, and the Pink...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful store if you like bright colorful fabrics from Tula Pink, Ruby Star Society, Kaffe Fassett, or similar fabric lines! The store is well set up, and is set up in a very pleasing arrangement by colors and fabric lines. Notions are well organized and there is quite a variety available. I came in 10 minutes before closing, and was still treated wonderfully. Come for the colors, leave with an armful! The only complaint is the hours, it would be nice if there was one day that the store was open in the evening instead, as I haven't been able to make it here during store hours despite visiting Longmont regularly...
