I'm a do-it-yourself person. So when my dryer decided to quit, I disassembled it, found the problem, and went looking for a part. One appliance service I went to didn't sell parts but they referred me to Tribles as the go-to place for appliance parts.
I walked in and saw a well organized store with just about anything you need to fix/service/clean/improve your appliance situation. Skip the big stores and come here first.
The man at the counter greeted me and took my broken part. He immediately tested it (thermal fuse) and told me that it failed because the exhaust line was clogged (he was right). I also asked for a belt (he had that too). He brought up the idler pulley wheel and told me that if the belt was frayed, this idler wheel most likely needed to be replaced (it was wonky). So, customer service is #1 here. Prices were great and unlike online, I got my parts right away instead of waiting for a few days.
I highly recommend this store. Support local businesses. This shop provides a service that is very hard to find in...

While waiting saw sign, if packing open, part used there was either restock fee or no return within 15 days. Man who waited on me didn't seem to like customers and never provided his name. I asked for a specific part. He immediately said most customers purchase all these other pieces in a kit. I explained I lost my job and he didn't acknowledge the comment and opened the kit, making it non-returnable to show all pieces. When I asked for just the single part and the price difference he stated a price of $30 (3 times my other sources.) I said I was sorry, but unable to offer my business as there other places offering it for a lot less. He said, in sn annoying tone, Then go. Get it from them. I remained polite, but will never return to this business and will discourage others. Customer Service and business return policies will make or break...
This place is awesome! Apparently been here for over 40 years. And even though I have lived in Frederick most of my life, I never knew! It felt good to support a local family business rather than a big box store. They had the part I needed to fix my dryer and it came with an instruction sheet to make the repair. I called first and had a great experience, but visiting was even better. Its a great little store with nice, knowledgeable people. And it was apparent that they have a great inventory of appliance parts. Can you imagine how long I would have been on hold at Lowes or Home Depot to see if they had this part in stock? And online parts were more expensive added to the 1 or 2 day wait. I will spread the word that these guys are here and they have...
