Awful customer service and follow though. Had them out for a quote in July , they were quick to come out to see what needed serviced , once they found out it was job they didn't want they never returned any phone calls or had the decency to even call me with a quote or pass. I called the store more then 3 times . First time the guy who did the quote was on vacation for 2 weeks and he didn't finish the quote before he left , second time he was back from vacation but still hasn't done it . I had to physically go into the store where they informed me they were going to "pass" on the job and just didn't bother to call me to tell me. This left me waiting months for service they didn't want to do. Seems this company only wants the quick buck and if they can't make a killing off of you they just move on. I understand if they didn't want the job ; but Atleast communicate with customers so you don't leave them waiting for months for something you won't ever do and allow them the chance to hire someone who wants to work. Asked for a manager or owner to call me back and never received a call, always told they are "in the field or on vacation" The pool season here isn't that long and they wasted over a month of mine with me waiting...
Read moreImagine a small dump truck backing up to your backyard and dumping 2 or 300 lb of sand and then taking off. Weird, right? Yeah. That's why when I called Henry the pool maintenance coordinator I kind of lost my mind and asked him, among other things, why his "technicians" dumped the old sand filter sand in our yard. Without asking. See the accompanying picture. I could go on and on and on about all of the bad experiences we've had with this company but this one takes the cake. When I went into the office to talk about this all they could concentrate on was my conversation with Henry rather than taking responsibility and apologizing for their employee. That is an absolute disgrace. Every time they've come out and done something for us they've had to come back and fix it. The pipe above our sand filter is still leaking. When they opened our pool for example they just took all the leaves and debris out of the pool and threw them in our yard. And they charge $750 for it. My friend who is also a pool expert in Frederick told me that they have to come behind this company all the time and fix their work. And he wasn't making it up. So yeah I wouldn't recommend this company...
Read moreThere was an issue with our pool vacuum that needed some service. I understand every company needs to make money but this company is unbelievable. "Labor" is charged up front $65, was told it was diagnostic fee when I dropped off the pool vacuum. When I went to pick up the pool vacuum I asked I had come in and told them what is wrong would I still be charged the $65 and was told yes. Some other lady jumps in and says everyone is doing it. When I said they were only "Pool" company that is doing it she proceeds to compare this cost to how auto mechanics do business. Well, I know for a fact if you go to an auto mechanic and tell them what you need fixed they do not charge a diagnostic fee. The charge was justified by they have to take it apart. You have to take it apart to fix the issue. So we got charge twice in labor to fix this vacuum. Never again! Be a pool store don't base your business plan on being an auto mechanic. FYI no other company in the area charges a $65 diagnostic charge and when priced were cheaper. I called after they called to let me know what was wrong and my take away from this is call around so you don't get charged like auto...
