I have been considering writing a review for a few weeks now. This used to be my favorite grocery store and I’m not sure what has changed.

I used to be an Instacart+ member which gave me a savings perk when placing a pick up order through the Wegmans app. I was informed by Instacart that my current membership was changing. Instacart informed me that Wegmans was the one to initiate the changes and I had to battle to get my membership prorated because the only reason I had gotten the membership was to use at Wegmans. No point in paying $100+ a year for a membership that no longer gives me the 10% credit back for pick up orders! The 10% credit helped to absorb the cost since many items are marked up when purchasing online/through the app.

Fast forward from there, the app updates and has a lot of problems. I will say that after the first couple weeks, the app has gotten better.

Now that Wegmans employees are handling the shopping, there are a lot of mistakes. I am single and run a business so I do not have a lot of time to spend browsing the grocery stores. On multiple orders now (at least 3) I have received expired items. Expired items, especially produce, have never been an issue for me at this store. Tonight, I opened the second package of expired lamb chops, I had set these out special just to enjoy after a long day. I have received expired fruits, vegetables, meats, and even fresh Wegmans brand raviolis that had well surpassed their expiration date by the time I brought them home.

I’m not sure what has gone wrong with Wegmans but with every order I am more and more reluctant to go back. One thing I was hoping for when Wegmans took away Instacart+ features was to have the same prices in store as on the app. Many stores now offer this when in-house employees do the shopping. I swear that the prices have increased even more!

Wegmans has gotten RIDICULOUS. I have had 100+ pick up orders and have spent thousands of dollars at this store and the direction the store has gone in the past few...

I would still write the same review. I love shopping here. The only con.....you end up spending too much money! And whatever you do, do not go in hungry!!!!!!

It's a pleasure taking my 4 year old daughter along as a treat because they have car shopping carts! She loves getting in and "driving", while I put groceries in the cart in front of her. And tge chooo choooo train is just awesome! Who doesn't love that!

Used the pharmacy, however their produce looks incredible. Fruits and veggies looked fresh, the place is immaculately clean, huge selection of everything or so it seemed. As far as prices they are honestly comparable to other grocery stores. Looks like high quality all around. I did get cherries for hubby and they were absolutely delicious!

Incredibly friendly staff. It actually looks like they enjoy being there and coming to work. Very sincere as well.

I am going through a difficult time right now being laid off. Wegmans is the only pharmacy that accepts my medication through GoodRx. Unfortunately my Mom's and Pop's pharmacy doesn't which forced me to call every chain pharmacy to see if they accepted GoodRx for this particular RX.

Calling Wegmans was a breath of fresh air. Staff and pharmacist were incredibly helpful and kind while all other pharmacies didn't want to bother to help or were outright rude and judgmental for no good reason. Wegmans treated me with utmost respect and saved me almost $500 through Good Rx. Thank you! My only wish there were more places like yours.

Next time I will do some grocery shopping as well. But something tells me I won't be disappointed. Kids would love a model train that runs just a little below the ceiling. I believe this was an old train station.
