We stopped here for a quick bite before heading home from work. It is in Clemson Corner Shopping Center, but it is on the left side when you come in. You will see a strip mall section and they are in the back corner. When you walk in there is a bar area to your right and the restaurant section is on the left. We sat in the restaurant.
Wife got a margarita and I got a beer to drink. After reviewing the menu, we went with their Six jumbo wings, tempura battered & fried, served with bleu cheese as an App. We really enjoyed them as they were meaty and on the larger side. This kept us satisfied until our large 3 Meat pizza came out. It had a thin crust and was topped with their signature sauce, pepperoni, hot italian sausage and crumbled meatball. They have other sauces you can get and of course more food choices. Just check out their online menu to see everything they offer.
They had dried hot peppers and parmesan cheese already at the table. Pizza was brought out on a wooden pizza board that was placed on the pizza stand. We ended up taking a couple slices home along with a couple Cannolis. Filling was a bit more creamer than I am used to, but really was a great late night snack. Definitely recommend heading there if in the area as there were couples and families there that were enjoying the food.
Parking and getting out can be a pain. It was really busy when we got there, so parking was a pain to get near it. Getting out has a weird intersection that is interesting.

Read morePlease save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. I went here for lunch and it was an absolute nightmare and the reason I will not be going back. My server barely acknowledged my party and as a result we were there waiting for wings and a pizza for hours. She actually spent the whole time flirting with one guy at the bar and it was pretty unconformable listening to their conversation and watching them embrace each other when he left. But what really was frustrating was when the table who came after us got their food first and when we asked where our food was we were told the oven temperature is really low and taking longer to cook our food. When we received our chicken wings they were very under cooked. Blood was still coming out of the wings. When we told our server her response was "Yeah, we have been having issues with it all day." THAT IS NOT THE RESPONSE YOU SHOULD HAVE WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD. I consumed under cooked chicken because their team failed to cook it right. So please save yourself the time and energy and go somewhere else who won't serve you...
Read moreWalked in to a very empty restaurant on a Sunday late afternoon. Was seated immediately. After waiting about 5-7 minutes without anyone approaching us we left. The kitchen staff was yucking it up in plain view and the bartender was not interested in offering assistance. As we made our way through the parking lot a gentleman stepped out of the entrance and called out to us (I can only assume he was the manager) that he had just spoken to the server about coming to see us about our order (we hadn't even been offered beverages). We politely told him it was too long of a wait for us, especially since the restaurant was VERY empty. We traveled next door to Mezeh and we're eating immediately. I won't likely visit or recommend Coal Fire anytime soon. When someone is seated and waiting several minutes during off hours at low volume, someone (whether it be hostess/host or manager) should step up to take drink orders if the server is busy. Poor dining experiences mean poor reviews and no referrals. There are too many fine pizza places in Frederick to be lackadaisical...
