I decided to give Weis a chance today 2/28/22 Very disappointed in the front end cashier manager one register and 5 self checkouts open and ALL of the lines were backed up I was in the store with two small children 1 falling asleep and screaming because he was tired without many options I chose the belted self checkout at this point my child that was screaming is now out cold on my shoulder because the cashier line had more than 3 big carts in the line I didn’t have many options manager Kathy did see me at the belted checkout with my sleeping toddler on my shoulder struggling to take item by item out of the cart to scan and bag it I’d have expected her to AT LEAST offer to assist me and take my cart at a register Especially because my cart wasn’t even emptied I was taking things out of my cart one by one to scan them because I was struggling She did see this as I made eye contact with her several times during my process as she walked back and forth infront of me multiple times it took me over 20 minutes to do my cart on self checkout due to the struggle of item by item and trying to bag while holding a sleeping toddler She clearly SEEN ME STRUGGLING AT SELF CHECKOUT TRYING TO SCAN ITEMS WHILE HOLDING A SLEEPING CHILD Her self check out associate was helping someone in customer solutions and running back to help someone with a blinking light So she was unable to scan my groceries however Kathy was clearly able to walk back-and-forth across the front registers multiple times so she seen me struggling and was able to see lines backed up so she could’ve helped me on a register...
Read moreNot a bad grocery store. My first time in this company store. Prices seemed a bit too high. I had met with the man in charge at the time, and requested info on a discount card. He advised me he'd get me one after I made my purchase. Afterward, I had to find him at the customer service desk. I now had to wait behind two other patrons while holding my bags of groceries. I had to wait several minutes to finally get to the counter. He completely forgot what we had discussed. He should have been professional enough to take my info when I first asked him. Read moreI had a business meeting in Fredericksburg and my boss was coming. When I got there I realized it was my boss birthday. I ran to Weis flustered because I was so late, but didn’t want to show up empty. Donna and James in the bakery were more than helpful. They went beyond for me. James even gave me his personal lighter so I could light the candles. Donna quickly packed me up and even made cake personalize by writing his name. Even the cashier was giving advice about points and wrapped the cake with care. Customer service that makes you feel like family. These employees need to know they made a huge difference.
