Iāve never seen such unbelievably bad and wrong customer service. I had some time to kill and stopped in with my two kids to buy some cars. While looking through the hot wheels hung on the wall inevitably one or two may have fallen. I joked with my kids, you break it you buy it, as I always do out of respect for the establishment. I then came across a package that the top tab was missing. I set it on the shelf. Suddenly Mike appeared and asked something to the effect of what happened to this. I was taken off guard and all I could think to say was it was like that when we got here. I was with my kids and did not observe anything that would have led to ripping off a chunk of cardboard. I also looked down on the ground and the shelf to see if the missing piece of cardboard was there. It wasnāt. I told my kids to put down the cars we had in our hands and voiced my displeasure towards Mike accusing my kids of damaging a box. He said he heard us tossing them around. WHAT!? Tossing cars around!? I am absolutely without words to express how wrong this is. First of all, even if my 4 or 8 year old damaged the package on a $2 piece of merchandise, reacting like you did, with the snide remarks and tossing the car angrily on a display case was way out of line. We did nothing to damage anything and if we truly did, I would have made it right. You lost a customer for your establishment today Mike.
