I had a truly wonderful experience shopping with Rashi’s Collection. Her daughter, Anvi, first helped me choose an outfit, and what stood out most was the kindness and understanding shown by both Anvi and Rashi. They patiently answered all my questions about traditional Indian weddings and made me feel completely at ease.
After purchasing, I learned that my friend wanted specific colors for her bridal party. I panicked, realizing I had bought something I could not use for the wedding, especially with only a month to go. When I reached out, Rashi and Anvi were incredibly gracious and went out of their way to help me. Rashi even offered to alter the top at no additional cost. That generosity meant so much, especially since I was planning to make the alterations myself or ask a family member to help.
I have been stressed about attending this wedding on my own without my husband due to scheduling and cost constraints, and their care and support truly alleviated some of that weight. I almost cried from relief. Like when I got to the car after the appointment, I felt my heart slow down along with my anxiety. It is rare to find such thoughtful, genuine customer service. The outfit itself is stunning, and I know I will cherish wearing it not only at the wedding but at future occasions too. I highly recommend Rashi’s...

I discovered Rashi's Collection while searching for Modi vests for upcoming Indian weddings. This family-run business operates by appointment only from their home garage - definitely call ahead as mentioned in their tagline.
I was helped by Aanvi, the owner's daughter who's studying data science at UC Berkeley. Despite having a full-time summer internship, she was incredibly patient, pleasant, and helpful with no pressure or rush whatsoever. Her approach felt more like helping a friend than making a sale.
While the selection may be limited compared to larger stores, the quality and taste are excellent. Aanvi has a great eye for color matching and ensuring proper fit. I went in for two Modi vests but ended up with two full-length kurtas and white pajamas in addition. My wife also found something she loved.
What sets this place apart is the personalized attention and genuine care. Aanvi took time to understand what I needed and made thoughtful suggestions. The whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable rather than transactional.

Read moreI rarely write reviews, but my experience at this so-called "Rashi's collection" in Fremont compelled me to warn others. First off, this is not a real boutique,it's literally a cluttered stinky setup in the owner's garage. It felt completely unprofessional and from the moment I stepped in. The spae lacked any sense of organization or cleanliness.
What was most upsetting, however, was how the owner treated me. When I inquired about see varieties for outfits the owner said “I don’t have anything in your size,” with a smirk—implying that I was too large for her "collection." It was blatant fat-shaming and completely uncalled for. Her collection was all below average to poor even for other sizes. She claimed I was size 46-48 and I am not and she has some unbranded clothing with no standard sizes.
Before I came, I had spoken to her on the phone, and she made big promises about her range of designs.Based on that, I drove a long distance to get there, expecting at least a decent shopping experience. Her sense of style was also questionable at best.Everything looked outdated and poorly maintained.
Please save your time, energy, and dignity. There are many reputable, welcoming Indian boutiques in the Bay Area. This is not...
