First for the positive. Very nice owner. He offered me extra wings (though guilt-tripping me at the same time; telling me that he wasn't going to make any money on the order). Sadly, this begins a lot of negative feedback. I found the place on Groupon and I called ahead. Glad I did, because he refused to honor it, claiming "new management." The pizza was full-priced and though I don't have any complaints about the size, it was a sloppy mess with no flavors that stood out to me (for instance, the creamy garlic ranch sauce was buried under cheese and I barely tasted it). Also, this has NOTHING to do with NY Pizza. It should be called "Barely Competent in Making Pizza." This breaks my heart because the owner IS a nice guy and is really trying, but I'm speaking strictly on facts here. Also the wings. They were soggy and seemingly straight from the freezer. Not good. The sauce was ok...until the next day. I am writing this review on the toilet 8 hours later, after having had to rush to the bathroom twice already. This food was not fresh. Quick recommendation as a reward for reading through a larger review: my favorite Premium pizza place is Curry Pizza on Fremont Blvd. Hey Mr. Owner, please go order one of them. In fact, order a half/half pizza. One side being the Chili Paneer and the other is your choice. Notice how well their proportion of toppings and sauce stay perfectly in place on the perfectly round pizza, as well as perfectly and symmetrically separated from each other. Notice the fresh dough (yours did not taste fresh at all. My wife complained that your dough tasted like the freezer). Finally, order some wings on the side and take note of their sauce flavor, proportion and lastly, the freshness and how well they are cooked to a light crisp on the outside, yet hot and juicy on the inside. Whatever they are doing, emulate it if you want to be successful. Good luck to you. Sadly, we won't...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Would give ZERO stars if I could and trust me, I am very, very lenient on businesses unless they really blow it...they did!
We ordered for a party of 150 thorough Eat24 and I can tell you this, I will NEVER EVER recommend this pizza place based on what happened nor will I use Eat24 if they cannot support such a terrible experience.
We submitted our order to Eat24 yesterday for a 3:45pm-4:00pm delivery for today. We call at 4:00pm because the pizzas hadn't arrived and we were told by the restaurant that they were still in the process of making our food. They didn't even give us the courtesy of a phone call to tell us they wold be late or that they were STILL making the pizzas when they were supposed to be deliverd.
When they came an hour late, the pizzas were cold and they were missing items from our order. They LIED to our face and told us that Eat24 had only submitted the order to them an hour before. They told us they would show the email as proof. The email they sent was the confirmation email from Eat24 making sure they had received the order the previous day! They lied and told us that was when they had received the order... simply not true based on the documents provided by Eat24.
Not to mention, we ordered king-kong size and they delivered medium pizzas. In addition, they CHARGED us for the king-kong pizzas, what a scam. Also, lackluster, borderline gross, and cold pizza... our guests were less than thrilled.
We tried to get reimbursed from Eat24 and the restaurant and they only gave us back the tip and missing items. Had we not double checked the receipt this would have been money lost.
Needless to say, as planners, we feel defeated that these supposedly great pizzas turned out to be terrible, with an even worse experience to boot.

Read moreI'm from NY. This not NY pizza...I should say not a NY pizza experience. I never got the pizza. Asked for 2 slices, paid for two slices, saw the inept dude behind the counter write down 2 slices...15 minutes later (yes, just for slices), 1 slice came off the conveyer belt. Yes, I said conveyer belt, it's not an actual oven. Paid $5 because the same inept dude couldn't make change and he wouldn't put the slices on the belt until he was done with the transaction. Turns out the only thing NY about this pizza is the NJ recipe. We all know that the water is a huge part of what makes NY pizza NY. They only use local water, and not after reverse osmosis. Like I said, I never got to taste the pizza, but not optimistic about it. Operation they're is clueless.
Also, same inept dude couldn't get the pizza slice off of the hot tray so the one slice that came out was pressed against a cement wall so he could get a spatula underneath it. Looking around the place, wasn't sure I wanted to eat it, so I just left. Probably worth spending the $5 just to get out of there without...
