We live close to this restaurant and stop in randomly here and there. I do have some complaints about this place. Number one is the booths. The booths are sunken in in some spots and tend to be uncomfortable to sit in. The second complaint is the cost of the "house" margaritas. They are $8.75. I feel a house margarita should definitely be in the 5 to 6 dollar range. Thirdly, the guacamole is just mush. My husband and I like those chunky made by the table guacamoles. The charge of this SHOULD be a fresh made by table quac. We ordered food the first time we went here but found it to be high priced for not so great Mexican. Nothing special. The good things about this place is they are ALWAYS friendly and attentive. It's very quick service and the chips and salsa are complimentary. And the salsa is very tasty, very fresh. It's good. I think it would be cool if they did a special 5 dollar margaritas on Fridays or something. In my home town the Playa Azul restaurant does 1 DOLLAR house margaritas!!! One dollar! We will continue to visit this restaurant because it is convenient and it isn't terrible, it just isn't 5...
Read moreLa Casita has been a family favorite and goto spot for lunches and dinners since we discovered it many years ago. We like that everyone can choose red or green sauce.....since we all have individual and very decided opinions on what is the best with different types of enchiladas, etc. The tacos are so much tastier than any fast food place. I think the difference is partially the shredded chicken. The beans are a favorite of several friends who order then to go for their families and for parties. The chicken rice soup is a must when recovering from that back to school or post holiday season colds the kids bring home after each school break. They make wonderful salads. The whole family loves their ranch salad dressing on everything from salads to use as a chip and vegetable dip! Yes, they have a bar that always has people in it and they have had much of the same...
Read moreThis place is uncoordinated unorganized and it's not worth the money for the food that you get. I heard this place was going to be up for sale and whoever buys the land should take it and never make Mexican food there again. Maybe a flower store. Food quality is about what you can make at home and at least at home you won't wait an hour. They got waiters sitting around on their phones, and they have a definite problem with telling someone how long. Then we come home the food is terrible, and when I mean terrible I mean in authentic greasy and poor quality of ingredients. Do yourselves a favor and if you want something like this place just drive the 5 miles north and go to Chevys. Same...
