Customer Service nightmare. Three weeks ago we ordered a bedroom set for my sister. They told us they could not deliver it till the truck was available, which was fine because it was only a few days. Then they gave us the wrong mattress set and a used box spring. When we called the store we were told our specific order was on backorder and they substituted a mattress in its place without our prior knowledge. Then they argues with us and tried to say that someone from the store called us and we consented to the switch on the mattress, when the only call we got was from the delivery guy telling us that he was on his way to deliver the 2nd mattress. Then we called corporate to complain and Shaun was none to happy that we did that, but considering the local store was closed at the time, we had no other option. Then today, they finally get the right mattress but forgot to also include the boxspring that went with it. The ad specifically states that it comes with mattress and box spring. They argued with us on that, trying to say that all box springs are universal and I can tell you they are not. Norm also hung up on me during my time on the phone with him after claiming that he was unaware that there was a delivery today.
If someone orders a brand new mattress set then all the parts should be brand new and if the ad says certain things then they should back that up. and that includes everything the add says should be included like Box Springs and protectors. My sister has been unable to use her bed for the last three weeks and I don't think we should be forced to pay rent on something that could not be used for three weeks, so they should either give us the month free or make some other kind of restitution. Oh and stop saying its your driver's fault. They go by what is on their order sheets, so if an order is messed up it is not their fault. It is the fault of the person that made up the order sheet in the first place.
Driver also told my sister that we were not the first customers to be treated like crap and he said it was Aaron's mistake and they should fix it and he was going to see that she got the box spring and mattress protectors come hell or high water.
Well the promised delivery never happened because we found out 24 hours later that we were lied to as the promised box spring was not in the warehouse like we were told , Norman also chose to use the F word twice when speaking to my sister, who was understanding;y irate over this. She then called Corporate and was given an issue number and they said they would be contacting district over this.
I called the store where I had my account originally, down in Toledo Ohio, and they told me they could get us everything we were leasing now brand new, including the mattress and boxspring. Only catch was that I had to close the accounts in Monroe Mi and that we did gladly as the store in Toledo has not ever given us an issue. They will be takking back my old account and delivering the bedroom set with everything brand new and including the protectors for the mattress and boxpring within 48 hours of the order being placed with them and with a lot of shock at the antics from the Monroe store.

Read moreI have several agreements with Aaron's, so far everything has been on par, with the exception of my bed... I don't think it's the same on I sat on in the store, it was much firmer than the one delivered to me. The mattress is sinking in after only having it for a few months... But they usually work with me or help me out when I need it as long as I call if I'm gonna be late. Paid off a lap top, almost paid off my washer and dryer, only have a few payments left on a TV also. Great friendly staff. I am going to see about getting a different mattress, I strongly believe it isn't the correct one my wife sat on it to before we bought it... Can't really sleep well on the mattress that was delivered so we will see what happens today.
