I went to ace to find a can of outdoor spray paint for the grass. I’m putting up our pool and we are leveling the ground and needed to buy some paint. When I entered the store I was greeted by a very nice young man glasses and curly looking hair. I asked him about the paint he knew exactly what I was saying and told me where to find it. I went to look and I couldn’t find it. So I seen another employee on the floor he was an old man and I asked him he was very rude to me and was talking to me like what I was needing didn’t even exist. I said ok the young man upfront knows he can help me I walked away and asked him to show me he said he was at the counter and couldn’t leave as he was saying that the old man followed behind me saying paint for the grass all confused and again as if it doesn’t exist and the young kid said yes it’s right here and walked over and gave me exactly what I needed!!! I said thank you so much and then the old man told the young kid GET BACK TO THE COUNTER YOU DON’T LEAVE THE COUNTER YOU HAVE CUSTOMERS WAITING. It was 2 seconds and the old man should of stayed at the counter while the young man helped me!!! I don’t think I’ll come back to this store because of the rude old man!! He’s not helpful at all. Read moreTerrible return policy. This is the reason why people go to Lowes and Amazon over this place. I try to support smaller business but when the customer service is less than useless not much choice left. I purchased an audio hook up cable which broke within the first week of using it. I know how to use these cables and have plenty of experience so let's rule out user error. Went to the store with receipt mind you, and the associate pretty much threw his hands up and said there is nothing they can do without a box. Fine, thats your policy, however they failed to offer any suggestions regarding any other possible options on a defective product sold by them. Let's just say I will not be going there again.

Read moreI went to Ace today, in Monroe. As soon as I walked in Chris greeted me with a hello. Dave immediately, said what can I help you find? I showed him what I had and told him I needed a washer to fit this. He corrected me and said I needed an O ring. He kindly helped me find the size I needed. Granted it was only a .99 O ring but Dave went out of his way to help me. I did pick up another item while I was there. Chris was at the cash register, very friendly and signed me up for an award card. Took his time to explain the benefits to me.
