The Spot Archery — Local services in Fresno

Absolutely fantastic experience at The Spot in Fresno. I have always been a Hoyt shooter until a friend told me to meet him at the spot and try his new Mathews Traverse. I shot his Traverse and walked in and asked Steve the owner if he had one in my specific size, camo pattern, etc that I could try. Fortunately he had the exact Traverse I was looking for. The bow was the quietest and most dead in hand bow I have ever shot. I explained that due to living in TX I would need to hold off as I was leaving the next day. Steve immediately said “I can have you completely set up and tuned by tomorrow morning before you leave.” Steve had my bow tuned, set up with sights, quiver, rest, arrows, hard case set up specifically for the bow and shooting 1” groups at 20 yds by the following morning. I can’t thank Steve and the rest of the staff at The Spot enough for the incredible customer service. The picture included is a shot group of 1 shot at 20, 30, & 40 yds. Top notch shooting equipment like Mathews and incredible customer service is a recipe for success. Just wish I didn’t live 1500 miles away. Thank you again...

This isn't just a place for pros to buy archery equipment. We had an amazing time there with rental equipment (just $20 for 2 hours) on their range. The guys there (Brett and Bill) were patient, encouraging, and fun, as well as expert archers. We were cluless, but we had a total blast! I wish we knew about this sooner...came upon it by accident...its a perfect sport thats not too physical with the perfect combination of skill, luck, and fun. Had no idea this was available in fresno. It's not flashy or commercial, so if you're looking for chuck e cheese this isnt you place, but bring all ages of kids here for fun in a no age or gender barriers experience... we will be back to this hidden retreat... i dont think they really mean to be an entertainment experience, just a place for experienced archers to try out equipment...that's probably what makes it so awesome... glad they let us step into that world...

I would recommend this place to everyone. I took a bow in that hasn't been shot in 9 years and they got me completely setup with all the latest tech the bow could take and got me ready for deer season just in time. They are incredibly patient with you and all they want to do is help you succeed. They will explain every option you have, as many times as you need and not once did they just push the most expensive option on me. While it wasn't the plan, we even ended up buying my wife a brand new Diamond bow, which was also her first. They took their time making sure she was comfortable with it and getting her dialed in and ready to go. They have earned a lifelong customer and I will refer all my friends and family here. Can't wait to purchase my new bow now!...
