The Scarsdale store has an extremely rude cashier. I visited the store on 01/17/23 at approximately 1:15 pm looking to buy some Hawaiian Punch for my son. Upon checking out I walked to register #7, smiled and greeted the cashier by first smiling and saying hola. Perhaps smiling and greeting someone in Spanish somehow made Sylvia S. upset. She replied by rolling her eyes and frowning while ringing me up. After she finished scanning my items she proceeds to tell me my total in Spanish (which is not a problem because I understand what she's saying.) When I looked up at the display (which is what everyone at checkout does) she proceeds to make a very unprofessional and rude comment by insinuating that since I looked at the display I didn't understand the total and told me "since you know Spanish so well." 😡😡😡 If you are not a people person, why would you get a job as a cashier being that you work directly with ppl??? I guess good help is hard to find these days 🤦

Read moreI bought groceries and went outside to wait for my lyft, the front end "manager" kept watching me through the window, while I waited on my ride, after seeing her about 10 times she sends the basket guy out to see "what I was doing" she said it loud enough in front of other customers in an attempt to embarrass me but it only reflects her poor management methods. I told the basket I was waiting on my ride as if it was any of his business either, I also told him if she had a problem with me to come address me personally, which she never did. Im not sure if she was rushing me off the property or thinking I was trying to steal propane, but either way there was a camera right near me that saw everything, vickki should not be any type of manager, and I hope she's not, definitely unprofessional and almost profiling me, I won't go back to this store as long as she's there. I also tried to get speak to a day manager frank but he was no help at all. I am going to contact the corporate offices and see what they...
Read moreSome of the employees are really friendly. Prices are higher for organic products (i.e. organic milk). I actually liked the store. My biggest issue is their lines. You will rarely get in and out of there quickly, even if you're just grabbing a drink. Peak times: only 2 lanes open. When I asked the manager why this is always a problem, his 1st response was "What do you want me to do? We have a hire sign out there." Great response guy! I'm in there almost daily. That attitude alone has cost FT my business moving forward. If the managers attitude is like this, I can see why they have trouble keeping employees. No store will ever be perfect... I get that. But as a manager, I expect some professionalism. He didn't even care that there were many who were holding a couple items in their hands while lines wrapped around the front. Maybe if you treat employees better, you wouldn't have a high turnover rate and you would have extra cashiers and more than just...
