Papagayos Tex Mex Cantina — Restaurant in Texas

I've eaten at this resturant about 3 times and have repeatedly been dissapointed. Although the servers are wonderful the food is not at all. My sister and I went for lunch yesterday and ordered the combo fajita nachos and some of the chicken was undercooked which is extremely dangerous because you can kill people with food if it is not properly cooked. The fajita was dry and chewy and we notified the server who asked if we wanted anything different but we were over it at that point and we still had to pay for the plate although in my opinion they should have taken it off the bill since we did not eat it. I've tried to give this place many chances to impress me but it's the same dissapointment. Management really needs to make drastic changes because that is not the only time the food has been undercooked. Another time my sister went her fish was also undercooked. After coming here for so many years a d recommending this restaurant to so many friends it has gone down to @#!%. I don't know what has gone wrong but the food quality is not there anymore. My wife and I were sitting down and I noticed that the couple on the next table starred at their food and made a comment like not wanting to eat it. Anyway my wife ordered the Carna Gisada and I ordered the pasta dish. What my wife received was a plate of beef stew with beans and rice and the flour tortillas were raw. They were just placed in a tortilla warmer and microwaved. My pasta dish came with shrimp and they smelled. The excuse form the waitress was that their Carna Gisada is different. I then pointed out that I've never seen it with clear liquid, carrots, squash, corn, potatoes and cabbage besides the beef. If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered veggies for my 1 year old and they smelt and tasted like old fish from a dirty grill. I asked them to fix it and a new order came out very quickly. They were under cooked and tasted/smelt the same. I ordered 2 soft tacos al a cart. 1 was steak fajita and that was really good. The other was chicken and it had the same old fish smell/taste as the veggies. When we left I spent 20 minutes throwing my whole meal up. This was my first time here and will be my last. I did get an apology and it was taken off our bill. With all that said, take this warning: if the grill is dirty, you have to ask yourself 'what else is dirty that touches my food'.
