This was my very first visit to this place after a recommendation from the staff at a doctor I see nearby. I got a grilled pork Banh Mi, and it was the BEST one I've ever had! It came with an egg roll and a canned soda all for less than $6. I sat down in one of the very clean tables and before I even got comfy, my food was already done! There were various sauces at the table: soy sauce, Sriracha, hoisin, and two homemade ones that looked like chili sauce and something else (weren't labeled and I didn't ask.) The staff was friendly, and even the other customers were telling me what I should order since it was my first time there. As I sat eating the amazing-flavored sandwich, I noticed that I was the only one that came into this shop that was not Vietnamese. It really says something about authenticity if people of the same culture are flocking to the place so much that you slightly have to fight for close parking. The entire experience was wonderful. I will be returning every single time I have to see...
Read moreViet Food To-go is one of my favorite places to get Vietnamese food in Pearland and Houston asides from my mom’s and family’s house.
The inside is very small, but they have a large menu. They make their bread in house and from scratch, and the smell is amazing. Their bánh tiêu or hollow donut, which consists of hollow pastry plastered with sesame seeds, is my favorite. I always get three each time I visit. I also like their bánh canh, especially on a rainy day. It comes with thick noodles, chả, and pork meats. I do wish there were more, but I can’t complain because it’s less than $10 for the whole bowl. They have a lot of comfort foods for a super affordable price!
Overall, this is a great place if you want good bánh mì, bánh tiêu, bánh canh, or any other comfort and homemade...
Read moreAs a California native, I can honestly say that Viet Food to go is honestly one of the best hole in the wall Vietnamese spots. They offer so many options for tasty and authentic Vietnamese food. The food here is just as good as the places i’ve been to in California’s Little Saigon. The owners were super kind and attentive when they took my order and told me that everything is made fresh in house. My personal favorites is the Bô Lúc Lác or shaken beef. The prices are also very very reasonable. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of the food but it was great. One thing to note is they do offer sit down as well as takeout contrary to their name. Overall a great find for...
